God bless you my dear brother in Jesus! I'm not deaf, but I know I have fears of my own too, to overcome. I went through a really bad cancer battle 2 years ago and I kept praying that the only strength I had was not my own and was only coming from Jesus. I think of when one day that door to our next "ark" will one day very soon be closed forever. And there will never be another opportunity for people to invite the Elohim to dwell inside of them. We desire his presence because the holy Spirit put that desire in us! And it's not us who chose Him, but HE chose us! This brings tears to my eyes because the more I dwell on this, the more I think, WOW! I will never be separated from him! Not even in the next life or forever! When we (the bride of Christ) live in the new Jerusalem, the world will repopulate. All though that generation won't ever know what it's like to have to fight satan every day like we are now, there will still be evil as the earth repopulates. And because of that, they won't have the armor of God's word to fight satan off like we do now when satan is released from the prison pit after the next thousand years ends. And they won't have the indwelling Ruach (His Holy Spirit) living inside of any of them either. He will be dwelling around them but none of them will ever have the opportunity like us today to have His Holy Spirit indwelling inside of them like we can today. And that door is about to slam shut very, very soon! I hope you have invited Jesus into your life as your personal Lord and Savior. Please be very vigilant! All the signs of Jesus' coming is very close! BTW... "Yeshua" is Jesus' real name in ancient Hebrew. God Bless you and Shalom!

@signsongs you are incredibly talented my friend! This was beautiful!! I'm not fluent in sign language but I want to be! I have already learned 2 songs in sign language and I took a basic sign language class for 6 months when I worked with special needs people. Sign language to me is fascinating!! And being able to sign to these beautiful religious songs is brilliant!! Don't you ever be afraid of signing around others. You are an incredibly remarkable person and I don't even know you. Although meeting you and becoming friends would be awesome! I am sorry to hear you had to endure some of these hard times medically growing up, but look at you know! You're incredible!! And you are a very talented and gifted person!! I hope to one day soon be fluent in sign language so I can communicate with those in need, such as this. This song is now on my list of songs to learn! I'm currently working on another song too. God bless you my friend! Hopefully I'll hear from you soon! 🙌🙂🙏🙌🙂🙏

I love this so much! Great job hey sign songs I have a question for you. I Love ministry and sign language and when I can mold them together I jump on it. My question is I am self taught when it comes to sign language and I would love to learn how to do this song I just don't know where to begin. Would you be willing to do a tutorial on the ASL signs you used for this song? I would greatly appreciate it! Awesome job and keep up the good work.

That's an idea! Perhaps I may, but until then try using slow playback speed with the subtitles - then if you like you can look up the signs I used according to the sign gloss in the subtitles.

@SignSongs10 жыл бұрын
It was a slight risk, but definitely worth it! I was slightly nervous, and there was about a month of recovery, but now I can hear many more sounds and get a lot more clarity in others' speech (about 30% better word comprehension). I recommend it overall, but it does vary person to person how much benefit it will give.

I had such high hopes of this being ASL, but it's not. Please label this correctly to avoid confusion and respect the Deaf Community.
@SignSongs8 жыл бұрын
I was conflicted about the label myself - I am aware of the use of "I" and much word-for-word translation that makes it more Pidgin Sign Language (I have learned more about ASL since I made this video). However since I find most videos are labeled "ASL" in this category of videos (no one titles videos "Pidgin" or "SEE" or "SL", and "Sign Language" is too long with the song name) I decided ASL is the best condensed way to refer to it. Thank you for the respect of the Deaf Community - I strive to make others more aware of the beauty of ASL (even with my limited knowledge thus far).
@Julie86Mac8 жыл бұрын
It does not matter what other people label things. It's not about THEM. ASL isn't about signing songs, it is a language and more than a language it is a culture. It is important to remember where ASL came from and who it belongs to, the Deaf. When you label something ASL and it isn't ASL it creates confusion, but more than that it creates an even larger language barrier for the Deaf. Many people are not properly educated in ASL but they are often poorly introduced to it through people who are wanting an audience, to sign songs to. When someone who doesn't know ASL sees someone signing something that is labeled ASL, they then copy that persons "signs" which is so disrespectful to the Deaf. They then like i said, learn it and then mirror it. And sign it incorrectly, while labeling it ASL. And it continues, and continues, and continues, until people believe they know ASL and try to sign it and then all of the sudden the Deaf can't even understand THEIR own language! The Deaf Community is very proud of their culture and they get very angry over stuff like this, and rightfully so. This is not about signing for the hearing for a performance. It's not about you and it's not about us - it's about THEM. As a Nationally Certified ASL interpreter, I can tell you the damage of what you are doing is great. And I know you may not realize that, but I have seen it time and time again. If you want to sign, I encourage you to do so, but respectively. Remember, ASL is not a stage show. It is a way to communicate, to bridge the gap between the hearing and the Deaf, not to divide it.
@SignSongs8 жыл бұрын
Thank you for explaining further - I really do understand better now. I'll change the labels on my videos!

SignSongs. ...hi. I really do not see what all the fuss is about. This song is beautifully signed with wonderful facial expressions. People need to get over themselves and quit downgrading others. :( My friend that was deaf taught me to sign. He also taught me to sign hearing songs in English word order. NOT ASL.! He said that Deaf liked to follow along with us hearing peoples songs in English. So there. Also sign on! smile and don't let it bother you! ...looks like this was made in DC. we were there 3 Christmases ago. we loved it! blessings-jada
