THE SIDEWALK IS RAVING You literally just built an entire song out of like ten lines the Whomp King says and then added harmonies and a chorus and yo. Literally every lyric originates from one or another of that tiny monologue, and you still didn't make it feel repetitive. Oh, and also, that fast part (I am the king of the Whomps)? Absolute BANGER. You got that energy from the guitar part and just infused it into that part, dang! The texture on the Whomp King in the art, by the way? Scrap, man, that's good. Adding the black hole and debris being moved in at an almost memelike way brings some depth in to the low angle - capturing both subjects so that the size difference doesn't completely skew the composition. Nice work! Also pesky plumber haha hotel mario laugh now

Yeah! It's actually a great motif for him to stand against the mushroom people... and also one that, like many others, isn't explored any more deeply than that. Like, I do want to know the deal behind these monarchs! The effects on their people and their lives! Do they all agree with it unanimously? Is there a Bob-omb Kingdom? Why do they have one, if their purpose is to be fabricated in factories to be part of Bowser's armada? This is why I like the SM64 Betas. Some do go deeper. One even created the concept of a Prince Bob-omb, imagine how much that could explore the whole thing!

Feels nice seeing a non fnf song again. I love the dedication Juno put into his mod, he really made something great, but it's not for me and that's fine. A ton of people love it and who am I to say they're wrong. Anyway, this song is phenomenal. The lyrics are catchy and show the King's turmoil while somehow also being a little upbeat. For anyone who's confused about the Whomp King, I'll try my best to explain him:Back in 64, he was one of the bosses you have to face in order to get a Power Star, after his defeat, a Tower takes his place, but it appears that he has somehow returned in Galaxy 2 with a Decoy King, Bigger and faster than before, he also gained minions, however as far as i remember, he can only be found in One Galaxy in one Mission, and what he says is from Galaxy 2, meaning it's hinting something about the Mario World of their castles, roads and houses. but as far as i know, after Galaxy 2, he never did returned. however, King Bob-Omb Did. so who knows, but as of right now? 64 and Galaxy 2 (as far as i know) are his only main appearances in a Mario Game. Hopefully this explains something about the Whomp King for those who were confused or don't know the Whomp King.
