I teach and have a business with my wife. We do pretty well. Now, I have met a lot of people with money, and a lot of people who should have money. Have you guys thought about this? Why are there foreclosure homes in Downey, Hollywood, Palos Verdes, Manhattan Beach, Newport Beach, etc. They all have money to pay the high mortgage. The problem is, they were not good with their money regardless of how much they made A person paying a mortgage of $3000 can save $2000 per month. A person paying $20,000 mortgage can live paycheck to paycheck. The amount of money a person makes doesn't mean they are well off. I don't know Whoopie's situation. Maybe she's talking out of her ass and has money. Perhaps she spends the same or more money on what comes in. It wouldn't surprise me. All I know is that I've met many people that should have money and don't. That's one of the reasons I have saved in the last few years. I learned from their mistakes.
