The bakery refused to commit to the initial order due to being unsure if they could fulfill it due to the boiler issue. Then, they were able to fulfill it once the situation was resolved. Great business practice, and I wish I lived closer to NY so I could go in and support their business.

Whoopi was soo upset because she was "denied" her order she had to share on the View what a victim she is. She was so upset at this bakery because of their bias against her political views she had someone else place the order the next day. Yet, she ate them anyway! That's such a good point. If I TRULY felt that a business was discriminating against me for ANY reason, I wouldn't give them my money, and I sure as heck wouldn't eat their slop. If truly aggrieved, I would have said to the producers of The View, "Whatever you end up getting me for my birthday, make sure that it isn't from Company X because they discriminated against me." She just wanted to be petty, because she is a mean girl, and that is what mean girls do.

@lbjr777 I'm blessed. I've been to 48 states. 5 continents and about 60 countries. I went to Colombia this year for a month. I used part of the money i made during a month long working trip in the bahamas. My boss likes me and my expense are paid too. I knew it was risky financially but my head really needed it. It bit me in the ass. I went on a streak of the next 7 trips for me fall apart for 1 reason or another. Green paper comes and goes. I live small and travel wide. I've been from Alaska to Chile and all of the big ten South America countries. In total, I've spent about 3 years in south America and about 6 months in Europe. I've been to many other places too. On a 58 day, 7 country trip in south America, I never spent more than 34 dollars on a room. I ate like a king. I saw many of the worlds most unique locations. This is just my slow season, and this year with the election, it was super slow. It didn't help that weather seemed to be bad when there was work or other factors like my main employer got I'm some legal trouble. I take people fishing. By thanksgiving, I will be in the clear. It's not just me. This is the pattern for people in the service industry in Florida. Like myself, this off season was a struggle for many. My main boss said he want to freighter the boat to the azores and fish next summer there. It's not uncommon for me to be gone 4 to 7 months a year. I don't get rich, but I've seen more shit than most kings do.

The bakery couldn’t do it originally because of the busted boiler, but once it was replaced they could make the order. Knowing how notorious repair people are late, the bakery wasn’t sure if they could do the order in time. That’s how I interpreted the story.
