Love the Haven and my Whoopi Slings. Gives me so much flexibility in set up. Thanks Derek.

I've found that 750 Paracord (stronger than 550) and CamJams work really well for a quick, cheap, packable, and versatile setup

Awesome place to hang! Thank you for the video Derek however I had a hard time seeing how you connected the whoopie sling to the hammock itself. I'm so excited I got a little travel case on wheels that fits my Haven hammock and my Bushcraft stove in it perfectly. I've set my Haven up once at the park and I just got the whoopie slings last week and I'm anxious to go play. I'm so grateful that you invented this Hilton hotel of hammocks 🕍⛺🤣
@HavenTents2 жыл бұрын
😊 the Hilton, love it. Just connect the fixed eye to the hammock, and use the new carabiner (comes with the slings) to hook the adjustable loop to the tree straps. Enjoy!

Hey there. I was just about to order some Whoopie slings from ripstop by the roll. But I was so annoyed with their $35.00 shipping fee I top of my $30 order and I was also annoyed that they didn't quite have the green color I wanted.. So I watched a few KZbin vids to help convince myself to just pay the money for shipping cuz it'll be worth it. And I came across this video. And guess what. I ordered from you guys. Because you have the color I wanted and you didn't charge a stupid amount of money for shipping. So thank you! I'm super exited to try these whoopie slings out. And I'll be sure to refer friends to your site! Thanks you guys!

😂 so great. I saw your order come in! Thanks. And ours comes with two lightweight carabiners… which make using the slings a lot easier. Thanks for stopping by ✌️

Derek Great product add-on. I’ve got two haven tents and taking them to Montana in a couple months for a week hike. Want to get the Whipple Slings. So did you use two sets? If I want do do what you did in the video how many do I need to order?
@HavenTents3 жыл бұрын
Sounds like a great treck 👏 one set of whoopie slings and one set of tree straps (per Haven) should be enough span to give you plenty of options. This was a unique setup. I had one giant tree on one side (that used up all my tree strap) and a huge span, so I needed one extra sling.

So how is this ultralight if you still need tree straps
@HavenTents Жыл бұрын
You still need tree straps but this doubles the potential span without doubling the weight.

How do I fix it if it pulls through
@bonnieebrown2 жыл бұрын
I don't have experience with these, but judging from the looks of it, you should go to a fabric store and ask for something called a bodkin, which is used to pull string or elastic through a narrow fabric casing. If you have a person in your life who sews, ask them if they have one that you could borrow.
