He did 10 question quizzes on Fridays that you could write the answers on anything: One time someone handed in an orange peel with their answers and he still graded it. He was the legendary teacher that everyone told fond stories about. Fast forward five years, it turns out that he was sleeping with one of the students secretly for two years and got a warrant for dodging court. Be careful of the cool teachers, if they're relatable to 14 year olds, somethings probably not right.

You won't. I was a science teacher and you will pay attention to the shiny lights and sounds but won't be able to explain what you saw. We would do stuff like this all the time but when we get to explain and show you how it works, you tune out of it. I don't blame you. I blame the short-attention span social media barrage students get.

Especially when it is recorded and played back in slow motion to study the chain of combustion. Words on paper are just words of theory but a live demo proves it.

Considering that a massive fire didn't start, instead of luck, I'd say that proper precautions were taken.

Propane in a bottle, and acetone on the floor. At work we had 5 gal buckets to soak tools in. Some chêcked out a electric drill to stir resin, when he started the drill in the bucket, the room got white, socks caught fire, and the guy in the door way, got air time. Don't use acetone indoors without ventilation. . .
