He _tried_ to set up Ryan too in the first one with "Nice genis." Ryan waited for the crowd's laughter to die down, but you could see he had that incredible "You're gonna gay for that" immediately. In the earlier British episodes, Ryan used to come up with the quick retorts like that more often. But _that_ one sticks in my head (umm, let me rephrase that) & _really_ caught Brad off-guard.

I seem to be the only person to notice that Colin saved Wayne by saying 'stag' instead. even Wayne missed that because he was so intent on simply _not_ saying the f-word, but wanting to get Brad back with *something.* Wayne gave us a million-dollar smile while admiring that & trying to think of a comeback. When *your* mind travels faster than that of other people's, you get bored waiting for them to catch up. (I used to have this problem before I got sick). Brad often seems like he's getting bored if he isn't trying to set someone up. In "If You Know What I mean" he always asks leading questions. He thinks up puns _way_ in advance & got to show this off much more on Drew Carey's Improvaganza than he ever got to on Whose Line.
@SeanLaMontagne3 жыл бұрын
@@choosecarefully408 idk about all that That just sounds like that guy from One Punch Man who realized at 15 that all his peers were just below him and they'd have to change before he could see them as equals.
@choosecarefully4083 жыл бұрын
@@SeanLaMontagne I doubt that Brad is aware of this - assuming of course that I'm right. About the only part of me that's still INTJ according to the Meyers-Briggs personality chart is that I don't assume my assumptions are correct. Heck, *I* wasn't aware that _I_ was ahead of anybody back when I my mind was zipping at high speeds. After all, _other people_ had invented ways of getting water & electricity into my home, not me. But humans have a tendency to project as well as be oblivious to what's going on in the minds of others. For instance, I was *six* when I made the *disconnect* between people in positions of power & being automatically imbued with Morality. My parents were watching some show where the villain turned out to be a judge or a mayor. They were accepting that premise. So even though the notion was uncomfortable, I also realized that there was no process upon happening to work in government job that automatically made one immune to the same desires as anyone else. Decades later, I'm reading social psychology, & I realize that the reason most people accept the decisions of self-seeking politicians as if they were Edicts from On High is that they _haven't_ made that disconnect yet. In fact, as you're likely experiencing, they feel anxiety that either creeps up or feels like a gut punch whenever someone brings it up! This is alien to me. *Why* would anyone idealize a _politician_ (in the *first place)?* Then I read how people shift the fealty they felt towards their parents in childhood onto Central Authority _figures_ (they're only _figures_ they *represent* Central Authority only, not 'are' C.A.) & no child wants to believe their parents are corrupt. That's when I realized what a mistake it was to assume others processed information the way I did, that it was not a good way to go about life assuming that. But I _did_ get bored with most of the adults in my life before that. I didn't realize how hampered they were by *their* preconceived notions that they never questioned.

I know what awaits me in Heaven)...
