Paul was brilliant in this episode, always been one of my favourite episodes of all the series.

It's episodes like this that make me sad Paul Merton didn't last longer on the show. He basically owned this episode!

I've been watching these episodes in chronological order, and this is hands down the best one so far; The synergy is incredible, and Paul's outside-the-box improv launched it to the next level. Too bad if it was the only Ryan-Paul collaboration. They missed the boat on that one. Thanks a million Sorma!

I laughed so hard at Greg's 'O_O' face when he opened his envelope. Nice.

Paul was one of the best ever on the show, I just wish that he would have been on the show more and with Ryan more.

all three of the boys here look GORGEOUS. I have a serious thing for comedians and this episode isn't helping... and Josie looks as beautiful as ever of course.

"Mm, yes, baby powder would do fine. Usually we use glue, but that'll work..." I've seen this one several times now, and hadn't caught that line before. Love it.

So unfair... one of his last episodes and suddenly Paul seems alot more comfortable with the format, as sharp as he generally is on HIGNFY. One of the only occasions where the lone player was the funniest part of 'Helping Hands'.

Have you ever noticed Ryan takes a drink when Clive announces the winner, just incase, or that paul made fun of that at the end?

Ohh, I completely agree, although I'd say Tony instead of Colin - he works better with the girls. Caroline should have been on more often, she was brilliant.

Why?! Why did Paul Merton have the leave the show only halfway through?! The show is cheap, though. That's most of the reason it was a success - it was so cheap yet had enough laughs that it made money. It's also why the US version was so successful when it started even though it aired up against _Friends_.
