every time that stupid show was on i would do the stupid finger thing for years i couldnt even find the name of it. i've gotten better at googling since then.

I don't see why the show needed an annoying buzzer sound in the first place. 9 times out of 10 I suspect the comedians know when the joke is done anyway. They could have at least picked a more pleasant noise rather than punctuating every joke with a failure-buzz.
