I watched this and the Townsend kid was amazing. Yet all the announcers just kept showing pics of Cooper Manning and his wife. They said Xaviers mom was there and no pic,No interview.All this talk and and visuals about Arch but he really didn’t step up. How many young men do those California schools you're spazzing about have there? 1000? 2000? More? Newman has less than 200, so of course they wouldn't stand a chance against those teams. Stop being a schizo and get a grip. The other guy is right though, California is not unbeatable. There are lots of big schools in many different states that could play at their level.

Did you watch the same game I did? He was impressive this game. Made some really good throws. You can only do so much when your offensive line can't block and your WRs can't get open. If you give him just a bit more time, he'll carve you up. The fact that a small school like Newman was able to make this game somewhat respectable for a school like Newman, going up against Berkeley Prep is a credit to Arch Manning.

@@crosscountry9132 I'm not sure if you're seeing the same thing I'm seeing. The dude has very advanced mechanics and he's only a junior in high school. He'll be so much better as a senior as well, and especially with college coaching. Also his competition doesn't matter. There has been many 5-stars from small schools like this that has been very good. That includes Eli and Peyton who also played at Newman. If you only look at the competition a player plays, then don't ever become a recruiter lol
