My might be a wiring thing, it periodically on/off. I noticed if I put a lean into it, it works (as if your turning or going around some) it stays on but straight forward vacuuming not so much any clues?

Im an idiot, just spent 20 minutes taking off the bottom roller to see if debris was stopping it from turning, it was solved by watching this and learning about the roller switch, lol, thanks for this video, saved me buying new one

Mine wont work if it's in the 'upright' position. Starts spinning as soon as I tilt the handle down.

You have probably figured out there is a trigger inside the vacuum that turns off the roller when the handle-roller components are at 90 degrees. What you are seeing is the way it is designed. Possibly not the smartest design but that's what it is supposed to do.

I Have A Hoover Elite Rewind Plus That Just Needs A Brand New Bruh Roller Assembly To Be Replaced And I Can't Find The Part For It AnyWhere I Checked Ebay And No Luck I Also Did Check Amazon And No Luck And I Also Checked And Called Hoover And No Luck The Belth Is Fine And Hoover Was Very Rude To Me For No Reason So If Anyone Know Where I Can Order A New Brush Roller That Wood Be Helpful Thanks

Ok the green button was indeed the problem. This is what happens when we don't READ!CLEARLY SAYS BRUSH ROLL. WOW!

Push green button-no such luck! Tale off roller and check belt-no such luck! Must be the motor. However, the vacuum has hardly been used. Very disappointing product

Did you also try to take the machine out of the upright locked position (as if you were using it .. handle angled?). The brush turns off when the handle is vertical to prevent burning the carpet, etc.

I'm not sure which is more ridiculous. Anyone needing a KZbin video to explain "the button" or Todd making a help video that ENDS with "if your brush is clean and the belt is fine" your vacuum will miraculously work again. I need a diagnostic process for the motor control circuit board that might explain the input/output voltages. My brush does not spin but the motor does receive 41 volts from the vacuum. I removed the motor and applied AC bench power - it does spin @ 120 volts. Somewhere between the button and the motor the electronics breaks down. Haven't found a tech spec performance manual online...yet.
