WHS "The Wizard of Oz" - Cast B

I thought this was absolutely amazing! Especially for a HS production! They did such a good job sticking to the script and putting on a great show. I've been looking at heaps of different Wizard of Oz musicals because I've just been cast as Dorothy for a theater company so I've been looking at different ways to play the character. This one by far is easily my favourite!

Scare Crow was just fabulous c: I didn't matter that he didnt hit the notes perfectly. He just really played his character with cofidence and thats what I like to see ! c:

They all did amazing! The 4 main characters blew me away with their acting and singing! I'm auditioning for the scarecrow this summer and this helped a lot with how I want to portray the character!

Everything Logan My point still stands. If the costumes and sets were already grey to begin with, then it's a waste of time to add a filter, taking away the theatre effect the director wanted.

Just finished hearing the young lady sing "Over The Rainbow" . The beauty and power of the song is in its simplicity. The director got it right all way up until the coda. The voice modulations were unnecessary and added nothing to the song. Dorothy is a young girl, not a teenage pop star.

This must be the Cheesiest production ever, can you scream low budget any louder. I mean the Witch me;ting , really? Even the audience let out a burst of laughter! This is an I conic film that requires a decent budget, if u cant do it right then don't. Although the backdrops were nice tho when used.
