Is that guy even still around? I remember seeing videos of him running the Cascades few years ago. Hell he was arguing with me about how learning to roll was stupid and a waste of time 😂. 'Why learn to roll when you can use the hi-n-dri?' 😬

I would have a hard time on that river. I should make a play spot video like this on the little known class 2+ rivers that I run in the northern Oregon coast range.

My favorite move is hitting the last eddy of the watauga move, hard and fast in the flow and try to land hi in the eddy, kind of boof the hole into the eddy and be on a right brace into a bow draw, into the hole and rocket out of the hole🤩kind of in 1-2 moves. Great video buddy!

There's still a 4x4 wedged on some rocks, if that's what you're talking about. I was just there two weeks ago and it hasn't changed.

Just curious..why so many cross bows? Is there a practical purpose or is it just for fun?
@WadeHarrison3 жыл бұрын
The more I do it the more natural it becomes I encourage more paddlers to experiment with different strokes which adds another tool to the toolbox why I’m doing it so much yeah just striving for perfection I guess

Why do most people only use the old school half slices?

A few have but there’s always park service standing right there and it’s like a big fine for doing it and it’s very sharp and jagged so probably destroy your kayak and get fined or arrested so just asking for it but yes I know it’s been ran before
