One of the best lines in this movie is when David Arquette yells out about how this isn't even a Pay Per View.

“The evil Bischoff character... Macintosh.” As an IT guy, I love you for that, Conrad.

Best wrestling podcast IMO. I listen every night. I just let it play til I fall asleep. Tony has such good insight and Conrad is a great foil at times, while being very knowledgeable and level. Id chill with these dudes and talk WCW all day...

I loved ready to rumble. I don't know why everyone craps on it. Better than "the wrestler"in my book. You can tell Tony likes it like us.

This is the best movie ever made and it spawned the greatest champion the world has ever known, Mr David Arquette! He needs to be put in the WWE Hall of Fame ASAP.

What is the reason for the film reel sound? I don't remember hearing that on the MLW website.

Tony should have had a leading role in this 🎥, Conrad could have played the Alabama Dream 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Does anyone else get those audio glitches every few mins, and it lasts for like 3 tics then goes away?

Yeah, I get it too, I think everyone does. I'm Not sure why it does that. I noticed that it does it on Bruce's podcast (STW) also.

This was a good movie. I loved Conrad and Tonys hilarious alternate commentary movie. My favorite moment was the montage of the low blows. Imagine all of those Oklahoma moments where the one on the receiving end sings the Star Spangled Banner. I agree with Tony the main characters being the morons do making wrestling fans look stupid as hell. David Arquette and Scott Caan had great chemistry in this movie.

DDP's theme was a house version cover of Nirvana's "Smells like Teen Spirit"... that maybe the reason why that they couldn't use it for the movie without buying the rights to the real song...

Aside from Hogan none of the wrestlers mentioned at the beginning wrestled for WCW. Wouldn't Lou Thesz, the Funks, Harley Race, Ric Flair, etc

You think John Cena is the biggest star in a WCW movie?? Featuring Randy Savage, Goldberg, and Sting??? When did you start smoking crack??
@MikeRShires6 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. Cena is a true crossover Star, second only to The Rock. He’s actually a decent actor, too. Goldberg was hot for a couple years, Sting was never as big of a star as he should’ve been and Savage (while a HUGE star) didn’t move merch like Cena and wasn’t as known in mainstream circles. Cena is the biggest star since Austin and The Rock.
