Two Design for one playset.
No toys had been so different in the vintage line with the same name.
Both playsets offer many great fonctions dedicated for kids entertainment.It is also considered as one of the biggest playset in the 1978 -85 Star Wars toys line and I hope you will enjoy the description!

I didn't know about the Palitoy version until 1991 when Jim Stevenson of the U.K. told me. He sent me one on a trade. I'm blessed to still have it on display next to my complete Kenner version.

As always a great review. I have the Kenner version but I prefer the Palitoy version. I like the spherical design of the Palitoy version and its more open with more display options. I have my Kenner one displayed without the cardboard panels so its more open and you can see the figures. I like how you got the perfect pose with Luke and Leia on the rope swing. Well done.

I have pieced together a Kenner Death Star from various parts hauls over the last few years. The Holy grail for all Australian collectors is the Palitoy/Toltoys Death Star. My cousin had one, which he insists is still at his parents. My hope is to eventually acquire one, even if it is a reproduction.

Superb video! Brought back many memories. I had the cardboard Death Star when I was about 4 or 5. It didn't last long and fell to pieces. After that I had to use the circular base only as my Death Star playset! Lol.

Both great sets,each have their own unique aspects but id say that i prefer the kenner purely on the build.

I grownup with Palitoy model but my heart is divided as both toys are so well made. As a kid I think we were lucky to get those kind of Playset. So much fun at the time😊

You’d almost think it would be one of those ‘no brainer’ decisions, just the eco friendly side alone of being practically all cardboard let alone the awesome artwork and design of it would be appealing enough
