Super high quality and well thought-out message! Putting these new forms of leverage into historical context highlights how lucky we are to live in the modern world, with the need for greater self-discipline to avoid the traps inherent in greater access to information and entertainment. Especially since the new information distribution is permissionless, we have to be even more critical of it and analyze the credibility of the source and the reliability of the content. Analysis paralysis can also be a drawback of consuming too much information, as well as mental masturbation over theory without putting it into practice. Applied knowledge is power, but unapplied knowledge is stupidity.

Great work Mikey. Very insightful bro. How would you recommend a speculative fiction author take advantage of the digital renaissance?
@mikeyposada10 ай бұрын
Write somewhere with a fast feedback loop. Twitter, Quora, Medium, whatever. Create constantly, and get feedback, double down on what’s working. Or maybe you could get even more creative with it and use AI or outsource animations for your short stories and fiction work Then get it on a video platform. I don’t have particular experience with fiction work, but the principles apply still I would think. If you do creative work that you love, and you are pouring your heart into it, if it adds value to OTHERS, you’ll win. (In fact you already won by getting to express your skills/abilities in a way that serves others) Look into the war of art book, and his author. Fiction writer, crazy backstory, didn’t see success in his writing till later in life (not that that’ll be uou) but it’s very inspirational

Thanks Mikey. Great minds think alike.👍🏿I’m headed in the direction you suggested. It helps knowing that other thinkers share my opinions on the path I’m taking. The War of Art is a great book and the author’s story is similar to mine, especially in regards to how long it can take to see a degree of success. Keep up the good work brother and thanks again for your thoughts.

Your content is way too cool. The quality, approach, idea, but I don't think that you'll be very popular some day. Your message is about really doing something, you tell people to think critically about what you're saying, even though you already have the viewer's trust. You're not selling successful success and that's the beauty of your channel.

Good editing. I can see you're going for the Iman Gadzhi thing, but it took too long to know what you were talking about. You need to hook into the meat of the topic a bit more. I know Imans videos are beautiful, but most people know what he does. He's just selling indirectly.

Simply an iPhone brother, don’t use cameras or gear as an excuse to stop you from starting. Learn good lighting principles, get good audio, and learn how to color grade… all of those go a long way!

What do you mean "still alive today?" Lmao that's literally the older Millennial generation😂
@dealsmartie413610 ай бұрын
Actually, boomers and X generation. 😊 definitively, still alive! Mikey's point is valid! The pace of tech change is impressive! Some of us don't realize how recently the cell phones, laptops, and software were invented. It's crazy! And with AI the pace of innovation is turning mind-blowing. 😊
@edwin541910 ай бұрын
@@dealsmartie4136 I'm a millennial. While I was only 2 when the Internet was "invented", it wasn't rolled out beyond academia til I was well into primary school. We didn't get it til I was in high school. While he's right about how recent it is, saying "still alive" like it was a long time ago, when literally he's talking about the generation before his who lived through it all, that's what I was laughing at.

@mikeyposada10 ай бұрын
Content and code are the tools. You can create content, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be in an “influencer” type of way. You can also hire people to do content for your business, if you have some sort of digital skills, creating content and putting yourself out there is crucial because social media is a sort of digital resume. Hard to explain over text, but hope that makes more sense

Great Video! Such good points! Just to bust some myths: the middleages in fact was not as dark as we have been Made to think. It was a very complex time with a lot of developments not seen before. And ist was a long time of over 500-700 Years. In essence the dark middleages is Renaissance propaganda - cause they wanted to feel superior - and first it related to missing Soufflés. Google for the Topic =) But the Video is Great!
