I am from Pakistan, and an ex banker also . I quit the banking career because it was so boring. Then entered into fish farming and feel very happy, close to the nature and earning far far better than as banker. Life is very beautiful. So do what you enjoy doing. Corporate life is mechanical life and one is not more than a slave of old times. Great to watch your story. I am sure you are enjoying your life. Stay blessed

Please tell him to do his mulching with dry leaves and other leftover crop residues, instead of plastic sheets. It rejuvenates the soil alongwith protecting it from weeds and retaining moisture.

That's right. Plastic mulching also supports further production of plastics = petrochemicals.

1.It is not easy to produce and collect the quantity of leafs or organic matter required for mulching 2. organic mulching will decompose and cause fungal problems and harbour insects and promote more poison to be used in crops. 3. Cost of labour will double or more for spreading mulch.

If u want to convert it into a forest ,fine by me .. insects , mycelium (fungus) animals etc. all are welcome. But not in a crop,and certainly not as practices that lead to further rise of issues instead of solving or reducing them.

Promising story. But superb example of a badly produced story. The sitting lady is talking on and on and on for several minutes before she passes the screen (briefly) to the farm visuals. And then starts talking again. No one wants to see someone sitting in a studio talk about farming methods. Show the farm visuals and use your talking to provide a background voiceover. Show and tell!

Actually our farmers toil night& day but never get the true value of their produce, due to middle men. They have been the ones who make huge profits,at the cost of farmers!Each village needs to have their own outlet in the city,closest to them, in the whole sale market,where their produce can be sold to the end user directly, & by pass the middleman completely. An educated person like you can help them in this tremendously! Ask the Govt to allot you the outlet at City level for this. In Pune,farmers bring their products, immediately after harvesting, to a Mangal Karyalaya. Here there is space to store,display,sell their grains directly to us. Further there are rooms where they can stay ,cook,& live till all their stock is sold out! We got fresh grains, they get value,both are happy. More powe to our hard working farmers!
