IMHO, the key to this argument is that "God's nature is seen as beyond time, space, and causality, making God the foundation for the existence of finite, contingent biengs." And, the thing is that leading atheists know it. That is why they counter the point all the time. For instance, when discussing the beginning of the universe, the atheist will attribute human qualities to God and quote the Bible. Also, they like to use demeaning tactics, like calling God "magic space daddy" or a "flying spaghetti monster." These tactics are most disingenuous and unscientific. We should not take these tactics lying down. I, personally, reply with the silliness of believing in a Primordial Soup or creating something out of nothing using Mary Shelley technology.

Okay an actual infinity can’t exist in the natural world. Because it lead to 2 many paradoxes. But the metaphysical philosophy such as from the Philosopher Plotinus. The One describes GOD as that infinite the great is and is not. As soon as you try to describe an identity to GOD he is not and it end in endless paradoxes. Trying to describe him. In the Moses story GOD claims himself as I am I am. Potentially. Meaning that he is consciousness reality being ness identity it self. And not that at the same time.

In the Moses narrative God is saying that he is "self-existent" (the ultimate first-cause and self-existent MIND that is the cause of all reality. No Paradox there.

And no one on the planet can interpret his word as good as he can say or write his own word as good as he can. Claiming you can is a claim that your GOD incarnate on earth. @@GodSci I thought GOD claimed himself he always was. And always is. Indicating he had no beginning or end.??? And completely self efficient. And what your describing is the natural world. Which has a first cause a first beginning. And when your describing the natural world it cannot be infinite. And GOD said he had many Rooms in his mansion.

You quite right in identify a paradox. But all you doing is God by special pleading. Several things we perceive as impossible, therefore lets great this thing called 'god' that is exempt form these impossibilities, claiming therefore god is the solution to the paradox. That is not how science works. that is not a best explanation. You have to demonstrate that such a think is possible rather that presupposing it is possible. It is better to say we simple do not know or accept there are limitations to our understanding.

GOD is a Rational Abductive Inference to the Best Explanation (as the best explanation for the HUGE amount of Evidence for Intelligent Design of the Universe and the Biosphere). This is the SAME method of inference as we use in Science to infer the existence of a not-directly-observable entity (like electrons, protons, quarks).
