When taliban tookover india understood new reality and were resdy to deal with taliban under few request that taliban will not destroy any indian projects, and taliban will not harm any previous government leaders. After pak was formed in 1947 , there was talks of forming a confederation of pakistan and Afghanistan. Even Gen. Ayub khan and Afghan king Zahir Shah discussed the issue. Cheema sab should analyse how situation came to the present state from that position. Afghans know that Pakistanis were making dollars from Western countries and entities and other organisations like the UN in the name of Afghans for the past 40+years. First to fight soviets , next in the name of war on terror. .. .No wonder Afghans hate pakistan aggressively. .

My answer to the question regarding Afghan Security Forces not fighting the Taliban in 2021, which resulted in the end of republic and start of Taliban Emirat, that's what your ISI and Army wished to happen: in other words, beginning of a long civil war, President Ghani knew that and that's why the resistance didn't take place unlike Pak war with India which resulted Pak leaving over 90000 pants to India, shame on you, your Army is the only Army in the world that hadn't won any war.

There are few factors I see as an outsider 1. Pakistan failed to become one nation with all its ethnic citizens integrated as one under a common admistration 2. Pakistani politics is dominated by Punjabis and so other enthic groups always feel left out. 3. Pakistan always sees pashtun as weapons and have always used them to fight against some external forces. Pakistan never worked towards making the life of average Afghani any better. They never invested their effort on common citizens. 4. Indian govt worked on ground level. Like making schools, parliament, infrastructure, roads , helped open businesses. So making life of average Afghani better was the objective of India. So the whole community developed soft corner towards India and Indians

KPK FATA were parts of Afghanistan which were occupied by Punjabi Maharaja Ranjit Singh and expanded by the British. The Pathans and Punjabis are blood enemies. The Pathans could not get along with any ethnic group of Pakistan be it Mohajirs, Sindhis or even Bengalis. Pakistan broke up in 1971 due to the mindset and actions of the Pathan generals. The Bengalis wanted greater autonomy not breakup of Pakistan.
