Nestled in the heart of the old town, Alfredo's authentic Italian restaurant offers a dining experience like no other. On a bustling Saturday night, we embarked on a gastronomic journey to uncover the secrets behind their mouthwatering dishes.
Without the need for reservations, we dived straight into the heart of Italian cuisine. Starting with a refreshing cocktail, we were soon introduced to the delights of Alfredo's kitchen. The arancini, a novel dish to us, was an exquisite blend of rice and meat, coated in breadcrumbs and topped with a luxurious butter truffle sauce. But the stars of the evening were undoubtedly the lasagne and the pistachio cheesecake.
Alfredo's lasagne, a hearty dish of pulled beef layered with a rich sauce, deviates from the traditional minced meat preparation, offering a unique taste sensation that comes highly recommended. Its after 8 pm here and I've had dinner already but I could eat some lasagna all of a sudden. What made that sangria so expensive? It seems like it packed a bit of a punch when Steve first tried it.

how far is Albufeira to cabanas

Hi, thanks for watching and commenting, its about an hour from cabanas, you can get the bus or train, you also have some great restaurants in Tavira and Fuseta that are much closer, try Artefact in Tavira close to the castle, fabulous food, its a mixture of french, italian and portuguese cuisine, you will need to book though.
