Johnny had character flaws that compounded in the years Ally dated him - and she had turned away from Johnny for a number of reasons, not just a missed birthday. Johnny's behavior at the beach was disrespectful - Ally didn't want to talk to Johnny.... Johnny would not listen...... Johnny broke her radio. Daniel had little to do with it. And even after that beach day, it was Ally who went up to Daniel in the Cafeteria..... Ally who saw and wanted to dance with Daniel (the loner guy from out of town) at the Halloween dance. Daniel was wrong to provoke Johnny by hosing him with Water on Halloween - but the fact that Ally intentionally tripped the Cobra Kais as they chased Daniel on Halloween shows she was no longer on Johnny 's side and this was already months (October) after Ally broke up with Johnny before August. So this video narrator is wrong for saying "Daniel kept butting in " or Daniel interjected himself into a situation where he had no place..... it was Ally's choice not to be with JOhnny..... that was so long ago. JOhnny should be getting over that and have moved on by now. This sympathy for Johnny is misplaced by the narrator - in regards to Ally. In regards to Johnny being raised by a stepdad and by a misguided Sensai etc- that's a different story. There is sympathy you can reasonably bring up there.

I think they were both dumped by Ali for the same reason, and it will finally cause Larusso to change. Since KK1, Myiagi has tried to teach him balance and to avoid fights, but he never really learns it. Once Cobra Kai shows up, he's his old violent reactive self again, as ruthless as a Cobra Kai, for he must end them, he must make them pay, he must go to them and teach them a lesson with his myiagi do karate. The past 2 seasons have been huge for him in terms of dramatic events, he should have learned something, anything, but he's still hearing the same complaints from his wife, and she's kind of THE voice of reason in the series. So, his character hasn't progressed at all, he wasn't able to see the shades between black and white, he didn't see his own failure with Robby, Johnny's progress, his daughter turning violent just as he did, he also doesn't trust his students, which is bad, specially when there's some kind of parental relation to it (just search for what lack of confidence from parents can do to a child's psychology). I think in season 3 Ali is gonna come up and say to them that neither were the hero, the right one, the victim, that they were both violent, wrong, overreactive and she broke up with them because she wanted to get away from it and live a calm life, and that's gonna cause a huge change in Daniel's behavior and is gonna help Johnny find his way as a redeemed human being, ready to be a better man.

@@grizbands, I think Johnny is the hero of the show, but he's got a long journey ahead of him until he's actually one. He's definitely being heroic by changing Cobra Kai, confronting Kreese. Larusso could also be, but he's always gonna be the antagonist, once there are no common enemies, they'll be back with their rivalry. They may have risen a little above it, it might be a healthy rivalry, but it will still be one.

I respect your channel however my only point of contention is that when Ali kept rebuffing Johnny's attempts at trying to talk he became even more aggressive and took her radio in a bid to get her to talk. So lets reflect, taking someone's property in order to have that person talk to you is not what I call a smart idea. So he just making it worse, so there is no guarantee that she would have talked to him even if Daniel was not there.

(Who to be fair, wasn't taking any shit from him at all.) Not to mention five assholes riding dirt bikes through the middle of someone else's beach party is quite obviously "butting in." Amanda and Samantha move out. Amanda leaves Daniel's company. 03. Without Amanda at the company, Daniel needs to focus on the company, while Lawrence focuses on running a new dojo for Daniel. 04. Miguel is barely alive. He'll need Alli (with an I) to perform surgery on him. His recovery may take the first half of season 3. 05. Robby becomes a fugitive, he is eventually arrested, and sent to juvie. 06. Kreese continues to gain the more corrupt students from the high school to learn an evil form of karate at Cobra Kai, and to become high school bullies. 07. Hawk and his Cobra Kai buddies bully many weaker students at the high school, giving them no choice but to join Cobra Kai, or face continued bullying. 08. Hawk and Tory become BF and GF. Hawk gets Tory pregnant. Tory has an abortion. 09. Demetri increases in strength under Johnny's teaching, his body and personality transform from a nerd into a real man. 10. Aisha also increases in strength and personality, and becomes Johnny's best female student. 11. Miguel eventually makes a full recovery and joins Daniel's dojo under Johnny, forsaking Cobra Kai. 12. Robby eventually serves his time in juvie, returns to the valley, moves in with Kreese, and joins Cobra Kai. 13. Samantha leaves her mom, moves back in with Daniel, and joins Daniel's dojo. 14. Yasmine joins Cobra Kai. 15. Sato dies in Okinawa. Sato's nephew, Chozen, makes a surprise appearence to Cobra Kai, and becomes Kreese's assistant sunsei. 16. Upcoming karate fights: Yasmine vs. Aisha. 17. Samantha rematches Tory. 18. Demetri rematches Hawk. 19. Chozen rematches Daniel. 20. Miguel rematches Robby. 21. AND JOHNNY BEATS THE LIVING SH** OUT OF KREESE.

It was a combination of many things. Remember Ali was not happy with Johnny being a bully against Daniel. Also, remember Johnny sugar coats things to his favor. In Cobra Kai, he tells Miguel how Daniel sucker punched him while trying to work "things out" with Ali. He forgets to mention how he beat the crap out of Daniel before Daniel, luckily, gets a punch in. Until Ali gets introduced to Cobra Kai and tells her side of the story, I doubt we will get a straight story from Johnny.

Put blinders on and in comes confusion but there was nothing at that moment Johnny could do because the stone was set. Not cemented just set and Johnny was the bigger man defending his territory. So much anger between the two and the feud gets bigger. Hawk reminds Greasy of what he had and is, a snake. Will Daniel and Johnny continue to fight with Ali in the picture. Yes and no. So here’s how it is, Daniel was new in town and just met Ali and a bunch of other people, Johnny sees both of them and goes over with his crew on their bikes, he then tries to talk to her and Ali quite clearly says that she doesn’t want to, Johnny then broke her radio and Daniel stepped in to defend Ali and tell Johnny to back off, he picked up the radio and pushed Daniel over with it, Daniel got up ready to advance to fight Johnny but didn’t know he was a black belt, even after the first few hits Daniel still got up and fought, he soaked Johnny in revenge for what he did to Ali and him, then Johnny and his crew jumped him in a 4 vs 1 fight, how can Johnny be the real karate kid when he needs his friends with him? Idk why people are twisting it on Daniel because it was all Johnnys fault.

If Tory were related to Ali in some way, it would be too convenient and interferes with suspension of disbelief, especially the implausibility of THREE of the main core KK characters all having children or being the step-parent of children born around the same time (same age, 16 or 17) who go to the same school. It's enough of a coincidence that Daniel and Johnny's spouses both gave birth to babies who are the same age. Also in "Different But Same," we were told Ali lives out of state, in Colorado (?) Lastly, it's interesting that Ali would friend Johnny since, as many have commented here, she made comments in KK that she was tired of his testosterone-driven, bullying antics. It will be interesting and vindicating to see her observe the changes he has undergone.

Given that this is a Hollywood Soap Opera, I think this is more likely. Ali will help Miguel recover in some way. It will eventually be revealed that Ali is Tory's mother but more than that Kreese is Tory's father. One thing Alli said that kind made me think she’s less than innocent. She said in the situation with the UCLA guy, that Daniel made assumptions and she egged him one. I got the idea that she was a bit of a flirt and knew how to push buttons. She’s not a bad person. If she did it to Daniel, she did it to Johnny, too. However, it’s pretty clear that he has her on a pedestal and thinks she’s perfect. Johnny can’t control his emotions. He also wouldn’t see Ally’s role in it and go full bore at the guy. What happens he breaks the radio? She turns it on. I’m not saying he was right to break the radio, but he wasn’t unprovoked. Hey Cobra Kai theory I got some theories I would love to hear from you: if Daniel never went to Okinawa with Mr. Miyagi, if Kumiko moved to the US, Chozen's fate, if Terry Silver never found out about Mike Barnes, if Daniel never realized his wrongs and continued to train with Terry for example the club scene after he broke the dude's nose he was proud of it and was not resentful towards himself for it, if Mr. Miyagi never saved Johnny from Kreese at beginning of 2, if Daniel stayed in Jersey, if Daniel never broke all 6 ice, if Johnny won tournament, if Chosen beat Daniel, if Barnes won tournament, if Daniel never decided to not enter tournament, if Daniel never sprayed Johnny with the hose on Halloween. Also I have a theory that the tournament in 3 was rigged cause if you look closely at the article Karate's bad boy it was written by Pat Johnson the ref. It's biased against Barnes making him look like a bad person. The tournament was rigged cause Johnson couldn't stand Barnes and wanted him to lose so that is why Dan did not get in trouble for using kata cause kata is prohibited in tournaments and that is why Mike and Silver had a what the f look on their faces also the continuous kicks were not being counted as points.
