This is a good video showing WHY ALL TRUCKERS NEED A 50FT AIR HOSE! Don't get caught looking all over god's creation for a working air hose. You can buy a fairly inexpensive air hose to keep in your truck for emergencies!

You are right. I’m going to get one of these glad hand air hoses asap. I once had a low steering tire and was at a pilot truck stop. I used the their air pump only to realize it wasn’t working and it was actually deflating my tire further, which obviously made it worse. It’s super difficult finding a working air pump most of the time, so it’s best to have your own.

I noticed one of my trailer tires was slow pulled up to a truck stop hose seemed to be working but it deflated my tire instead of inflating it thank goodness my boss bought these for all the trucks never using truck stop air again lol 😂

Good for low air ! But never fill a run flat tire that’s close to all way flat ! Side walls could be compromised an blow up in ur face ! Usually 95 psi for trailer tires . 295/75/22.5G tires ! Be safe but great idea !!!

great video though I've seen the 50 foot ones and 60 ft ones on sale I wasn't sure if the 50-ft would reach . I should have got one of these air hoses years ago

Question: can you use a blow gun kit with your gladhands and use a coupler to connect it instead of using your seat air line?

don't you want to hook it to the blue airline? cuz if your air hose leaks your truck might start rolling?

For one, you need the truck to be parked and running. OR the air compressor won't run to supply air to the air hose. U hook up to the red line to your air hose. Then engage the red air knob. To supply the air make sure your yellow knob is popped out, OBVIOUSLY! LOL! Run the air line however is necessary to reach whatever tires you need to air up! It's a slow process, it's not a very powerful air compressor. So be patient!

Most major truck stops should have them. Loves, pilots, flying J's, Petros & TA's will usually have them.

I got one i went to do the back tires and the pressure ripped my red line in half

Use the red air line off the truck..... then engage your red knob.... to supply air to the hose... and then figure out the best way to string the hose to reach whatever tires you need to get to...

Do break knobs break stuff? I've never heard of a break knob sorry.

No they just apply or un-supply air pressure for the break system..

Jason my company truck has an automatic engine shut-off without an overide switch would I still be able to air up a tire if I max out to 120 psi when the governor cuts off

Yes! You can usually set the idle in your truck by setting the cruise while parked... it bypasses the automatic shutdown in most trucks... thanks for watching

First step U should hook up fifth wheel , when you unconect red line , the trailer brake is dynamotes . So U can releas yellow buttom , engine never turn off ....

just like as Exhaust Regeniunation. Engine never shut-off .(& yellow buttom have to release.

There's usually a way to idle up the truck to avoid shutdown. Otherwise ask someone to help you if possible
