The Quran also says don't forget your share of the dunyah. Is it saying don't forget your share of deception? It dosen't make sense. The goods are chattels of deception if you allow yourself to be deceived. They can also be the conveniences of Heaven on earth! To me the concept of punishment in the grave is a direct contradiction of the verse in the Quran which says the disbelievers, when they are awakened to Judgment,will say, " Who is it who has awakened us from our bed of repose," when they are awakened to Judgment.

Nowhere! The Quran does not say anything about punishment in the grave whatsoever. Here are the verses to ponder: “And the trumpet shall be blown, and lo! from the graves they will hasten on to their Lord. They will say to one another, `O woe to us! who has raised us from our PLACE OF SLEEP? This is what the Gracious God had promised, and the Messengers, indeed, spoke the truth.” (Al Quran# 36:51-52) It is apparent from the verses mentioned that people would be sleeping in the grave- the PLACE OF SLEEP. When the trumpet would be blowing, they would awake, and all would rush to their Lord. Here is the point to ponder; in these Verses, God describes the people who used to be non-compliant- deniers of the Truth. But they would be in sleep in the grave too. To note further, these deniers of the Truth would prefer to sleep in the grave as they used to be, rather than facing God because of the sins they had committed on the earth. So, these two Verses categorically prove that there is no punishment in the grave before the Day of Judgment. One might ask, does time exist between the two events- the moment a man dies and the day of resurrection? In our perspective - yes, time exists between these two events; maybe 10000 years, or 100000 years, depending on which point of time the man died. But who is dead, time does not exist for him; it is a timeless state, or Barzakh mentioned in the Quran. Here is the Verse to ponder: “When death comes to any of them, he says, My Lord, send me back; so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind. Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A BARRIER (Barzakh) shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again” (Al Quran#23:99-100) Time is Timeless- standstill there in Barzakh; time is a reality in the physical world we live in, but not in the Barzakh. If you are a student of Theoretical Physics, or you have studied Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, you would understand how time slows down or becomes a standstill. Advanced science explains how God’s laws work. As such, God says- only those who possess intelligence will take heed (Al Quran# 13:19, 39:9). Einstein justifiably said: "Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind." If you sleep in an isolated closed room and do not have any watch, you cannot even say how long you have slept. The same happened with the companions of the cave in Surah 18-Kahf. They had slept for 309 years, but after, when they had awakened, they could not even guess how long they had slept. Time became a standstill for them but not for the people around them. Here is the verse to ponder: “And so, We awakened them so that they might question one another. One of them exclaimed, “How long have you remained ˹asleep˺?” Some replied, “Perhaps a day, or part of a day.” They said ˹to one another˺, “Your Lord knows best how long you have remained. So, send one of you with these silver coins of yours to the city, and let him find which food is the purest, and then bring you provisions from it. Let him be ˹exceptionally˺ cautious, and do not let him give you away.”( Al Quran# 18:19) So, the story of the Ashabul Kahf- the Companions of the Cave, is an example how the people would be in the state of Barzakh, after death. After Barzakh there comes the Day of Judgment. God says: “It shall be but one sound of the trumpet, and behold, they shall be all assembled before us” (Al Quran# 36:53) And then: “He will ask, How many years did you stay on earth They will say, We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count He will say, You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew” ( Al Quran# 23:112-114) So, people will not even remember exactly how long they had stayed on earth, let alone the time passed in the Barzakh. It is because they passed the time after death until resurrection without any sense of the surroundings, in a Timeless state. And then God will say: “So Today no soul will be wronged in the least. I disagree with punishment/reward in the grave. This renders the day of judgement useless. The ayas that they infer from the possibility of punishments are taken too literal and not analyzed in depth. Nowhere it says crystal clear the step by step guide after death. We need to stop reading the Quraan with a mentality of a toddler based on reward and consequences and read it in depth to get closer to Allah and his creations to grow and reach self actualization.

Alhumdulillah i have learned and finished Quran with Translation, but After Debating Many scholars and Reading Whole Quran and having Alhumdulillah kind of complete islamic Knowledge including Hadith, With translation, i do not believe in Grave Punishment, there is no such part as grave punishment and there will be no part such as grave punishment, if anyone wants the verses and those authentic point on which behalf i m saying that, i can code it down in the comments! hope you understand my saying!!

@@alishamohammed3225 Sure, I Know it is Mentioned in hatidh about Grave Punishment, and we have to believe Hadith as well as Allah says Obey me and Obey Rasool, BUT first, According to Surah al Haqqah 44-46, if Prophet Muhammed PBUH has said anything false concerning Allah, Allah would had seized him by his right hand and would have cut his life aorta, u can go and check it by yourself if u like to ( Surah al Haqqah 44-46 ), so it is cleared that Prophet PBUH cannot say anything wrong, now if there are Quran verses which goes opposite to grave punishment, and if there is Hadith which says that there is grave punishment, what will u choose? obviously Quran, cuz if taurat and Injeel can be amended then Hadith is not even send from Allah, if Hadith goes opposite to Quran then it means it is not Hadith, Since I live in Saudi Arabia and I have spoke to Many Scholars Maa Sha Allah and Nobody was able to these and BTW Hadith means Words or speech, now Coming to the Verses Which goes opposite to grave Punishment, 1: In Quran Allah says that there is every kind of example in Quran ( Sarah al kahf 54 ) and really it is, even small to small things is mentioned, like how to enter home and all that, and since Grave Punishment is a great part of life it should be mention but there is no such even a concept about Grave Punishment, not even a example, 2: Allah Says ( Surah al YaSeen 52 ) that those who died they will raised up at the day of judgement and will say “Who has raised us up from our sleeping place?” This ayat is relevant About Disbelievers It means that if they will feel just like they are sleeping between the time from The Grave and Day of Resurrection, So How Can Someone Feels Like he is Sleeping while he is Getting punishment, 3: As Everyone Knows We All Have To Die And Will Raise Up On The Day Of Judgement, ( Surah al mursalat 13 ) “day of judgement” before this Allah tells us about the destruction of the last day and said it is postponed for the “day of judgement” So, Day of judgement means the day where every person Will be Judged, Tell me How Can Someone get Punished Before He Is Judge like the grave punishment is before the day of judgement right? So How can he be punished before he is judge that weather he should be punished or Blessed with good reward, 4: In ( Surah al Baqarah 28 ) Allah said “ as you were lifeless and he bought you to life” yes literally everyone was lifeless he bought us to life and he says “ then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you to life, and then to Him you will be returned. “ like we were lifeless then he gave us life ( This world ) then he will cause you to die and bring you back and you will be returned to Allah ( At The Day Of Resurrection ) According to Quran we have 2 lives and 2 death, but if You add grave punishment so it will 3 lives and 3 deaths, 5: ( Surah Al Ghafir 46 ) According to this ayat the fire is Exposed ( it is written EXPOSED, which means shown ) to the People of Firaun ( Exposed like visible to him ) at the early morning and nightfall ( they are reminded That This is your destination ) and WHEN THE TIME WILL COME they will be entered to the fire, And these was some of the verses I coded you, now Use your common sense, weather u will choose Quran in front of those hadith, don’t get me wrong, I do absolutely believe in Hadith BUT in the light of Quran, cuz Hadith was written after 200 years of Prophets SAW Died, and even at the time of prophet there were so many hypocrites, so imagine how many would be there after his death, Now just concentrate for couple of minutes and think about it, cuz this is a large part of life, u can’t just let it go like that! Why are you changing your opinion? In a lecture in India in front of millions of audience you told the right thing that there is no punishment in the grave, it’s a dormant period. Now you are telling that there is punishment in the grave. There is no verse in the whole Quran of grave punishment. But it’s the opposite. There is hints that He has given life and causes death and people will be resurrected on the day of Judgement. And people will say who has awaken us from our sleep? And then everyone will be judged with complete justice. Then they will know what is their destination- Hell or Heaven.

Before Allah(SWT) sent humans on earth all the souls were in Jannah ( and in jannah there were no disbeleiver and every soul was enjoying there) and before we were sent to this world Allah(SWT) gathered us all and Allah(SWT) said i am your Lord and we unanimously said yes (because we were in jannah there and we all knew who created us ) and then we were sent in this world to see who will be a true believer and worship the Almighty Allah after facing hardship and who will forget his lord after having some blessings in this world. Always remember Allah is not unjust Allah knew which was a believing soul and which will break the commandements of his Lord. if the final abode is jannah, it deserve a simple test whose every answer is already we know.
