Hello and peace to you, What is Shadow work to you, and why do you think it will never end?

Interesting question... I think the shadow work doesn't end because we're complex nuanced human beings with egos that like to drive and attempt to keep us safe. For me shadow work is a tool I tap into to support my healing and growth journey. It's also constant self-awareness, checking my intentions, ensuring I'm showing up in the most aligned, heart-centred way, and sending out love rather than fear - even if I'm scared. It's sitting with discomfort and sadness, fear and anger and accepting that life isn't perfect, and neither am I - I mess up all the time and I love shadow work to help me to grow into a better person. That isn't a destination though, so it's a constant journey. Yes, I think those are some of the things I think of initially. 🙏

​@@EmilysTarotandMagick I have found that the root of ego is judgment. By facing and letting go of judgment and not making or accepting new judgments, living without judgment and it's fruit like ego is possible.

@@altonlg24 I definitely think that mindfulness practices are really supportive with cultivating awareness around this. I try to notice when I find myself slipping into judgement. I think it is a natural human condition; but I agree that by practicing intentional awareness around how we slip into these habits, we can catch ourselves and in a non-judgemental way, just see it, and meet ourselves where we are, with a kind of neutrality.

@@altonlg24 Yes potentially. I don't believe I will ever know everything or uncover all the shadows of my inner self. That's quite a beautiful thing in itself though. 🥰 we are living works of art in a way. 🙏 Xx

I feel if we are all doing our best to speak out against hatred, terror, oppression, racism, evils etc. and by boycotting businesses and corporations which actively support and promote this behaviour for their own financial gains, and if we are able to cultivate peace and love in the world by leading from the heart and always striving to do our best, then collectively it could be possible. Sadly there seem to be many people who are confused about this, and imagine that evil can be wiped out by perpetuating evil, and people who continue to profit from such atrocities. If we can collectively rise together, I believe we can create a better world for the future. 🙏 ❤ Thank you for your thoughtful questions ✨ blessings Xxx
