It's like...looking back at my old self. I couldn't stand anyone in my YW group. I couldn't find a reason to go to mutual or girls camp. I thought humans were awful, and were like a plague, infecting the earth. I thought everyone at school were idiots and fakers, pretending to care about me, pretending to listen to my problems, pretending to be my friend. I quickly sunk deeper into a hole of sadness. I rebelled quietly. I was sure few people had a purpose other than to destroy my alone time. I almost had convinced myself I had no purpose either. But then I went to seminary. I was always so happy to find relief from the stresses of the day. Seminary brought me a real friends, it brought me relief, and it brought me happiness. Slowly, my friend stopped me from sinking deeper into the hole. Then, when I went to Camp Heber for girl's camp, the spirit seemed to pull me out of my hole completely. Now I am friends with everyone in my YW, I am WAY more confident and happy, and I know I have a purpose. And I find people much less annoying than before. I am SO grateful to Heavenly Father! I probably wouldn't be here if he had not helped me. I have been so blessed throughout my life, and now, I can see the wonderful blessings Heavenly Father gives us!

Amazing message. Beautiful girls really have a hard time living the gospel, usually people don't realize that. They're often judged by other girls, and constantly tempted to go out with different guys. We're all children of God, and we all have our weaknesses. May we always look at people with love and mercy, no matter how they look, too bad or too good, we're not here to judge

I used to compare myself to others and question the church I suffer from depression and so I've always felt alone this video says that we will never know when we will find our purpose I used to think mine was music so I gave it my all until just last year I couldn't stand all the stress and anxiety that came with it and the funny thing is that when I stopped playing my music I could see the world for what it truly is a work of art created by our savior Jesus Christ and knowing that helped me cope with hating myself and feeling completely and utterly alone and after seeing one person's love for me I noticed more people who care for me I don't have a best friend but I'm not alone either I still don't know my purpose but I know that whenever I find it I'll have people supporting me

this is exactly what happens to me at girls camp for me (i assume that’s where they’re at). i can be in a terrible mood i could be sad i could be lonely upset lost or just confused but its all lifted at girls camp; there’s a vibe there and a feeling of love and belonging that you can’t find anywhere else. first time i saw this video i cried because it hit me so hard in the feels. i will forever and always love girls camp

Many years I wandered around in the darkness. I didn't even like being in a dark room. I had to have a light on at all times. I had been a member of the church for most of my life. I had strayed away. I became lost in the darkness. I am thankful for my Heavenly Father's love for me. He not at anytime did He leave me. I was the one sheep that My Shepherd left the 90 &9 to find.

The fact that you're here now, in this moment, means you are worth being alive. I try to read Moses in the Pearl of Great Price to remind myself of my worth. I'm sorry you're having a hard time, and I'm sending hugs. Everyday is a brand new day with greater potential for a brighter sun. Sometimes it rains and you still get sunburned. That's not true. Struggles we go through are not meant to end us. We will always have struggle. But find peace, love, strength through Jesus Christ. Read his word. Pray. I can guarantee you there are people in your life that need you you are just not seeing it. Satan tries to convince us we are worthless and unwanted but it is not true. Have faith. (And on a real practical level get active in life serve others stay busy you may need medication to help for depression and life can always get better.)

Interesting... politely, I would like to share the Quran answer, and you are the judge: You are here because you have chosen “free will” in the past.. To worship god with free will, not in a programed way like other creations. When god offered “free will” to all his creations, all creations refused the deal and thought it was a heavy deal, except human being... We have accepted this deal. God asked us: Am I your lord? We said: “Indeed”. This is why the Quran is full of verses like “ this is nothing but a Reminder”, its a reminder to that promise, when we said “indeed”. This is what we call Fitrah. So now we are here in the test.
