The Warning are from Monterrey Mexico they are Daniela (Dany) 21 Guitar, Piano, Lead Vocals Paulina (Pau pronounced Pow) 19 Drums, Piano, Lead and Back Up Vocals Alejandra (Ale pronounced Ah Le) 16 Bass, Piano, Back up vocals they are the Villarreal Sisters, in 2015 they released an EP called "Escape The Mind" in 2017 they released their first Album called "XXI Century Blood" in 2018 they released their second Album called "Queen Of The Murder Scene" in 2019 they released a Single called "Narcisista" it was their First song in Spanish, all as an Independent Rock Band. In July of 2020 they were signed by Lava/Republic Records and in September they went to New Jersey to record their Third Album with producer David Bendeth in May of 2021 they released the first single from their new up coming Album the song is called "Choke"

Their best live performance of a Metallica cover was years later at the Whisky a Go Go in Los Angelas. It was an encore after a two hour set of all original songs. Great reaction! In this performance they were Alejandra 9 on bass, Paulina 12 on drums, and Daniela 14 on guitar. All three sing, and all three also play piano. Nice! The Warning’s new rendition of Enter Sandman is the first song on Metallica’s upcoming Blacklist album. Album will be released September 10th. When you listen to Metallica and close your eyes, you hear The Warning. They have 33 original songs so far with their most recent Choke off their upcoming third album and Evolve to be released on Friday (7/23).

They have other recorded live performances of this song but around the same time as this one. This is the best version tho. They haven't performed it in a long time but they are also going to be part of that new Metallica tribute album and release their studio version cover of the same song. Them and another singer whom I forgot her name. Its gonna be epic I bet. So yeah this is The Warning and they are on the verge of releasing their 3rd album. Kirk Hammett's comment was "the drummer kicks maximum ass", so you're definitely onto something. But I do wonder what kicking more than maximum ass is called, given how much better Pau is now. This wasn't intended for public consumption (it wasn't *not* intended that I know of, they probably simply hadn't thought about it). Their father (Luis Villarreal) posted it so that their relatives could see the girls' musical progress (there are even earlier videos around, such as Hysteria by Muse). Supposedly they went on vacation and came home to find themselves swamped. But looking at their gear, it's obvious that they were very serious about it by then. Dany is the primary lead singer; Pau sings about 30%, and sometimes Pau and Dany sing a duet (particularly Survive and Sinister Smiles). Ale, on bass rarely sings lead, when one of the others needs a break. She has a very nice voice, but thus far doesn't particularly enjoy singing lead. If you want to see Pau really go crazy, watch Narcisista -- she sings lead, plays the drums, and gesticulates like she's swatting away their critics like particularly annoying flies. You don't have to know Spanish to understand what it's about, although that would surely help (I don't). Between Dany's guitar tone and Pau's acting, it's pretty obvious that they're sneering at somebody. In this case, it's critics in Mexico who weren't happy that they weren't writing in Spanish. So they wrote a song in Spanish telling them to pound sand. The song, I'm told, is very popular in Mexico and is probably especially insulting to those critics, who probably secretly like it despite themselves. They're actually extremely proud of their heritage. They recorded the Choke video in Monterrey in a 22 hour marathon. They have some songs that Metallica could do a pretty fair cover of; Dull Knives and Queen (King?) of the Murder Scene would be the most obvious choices.

They do not do covers anymore. They have done great ones, but their original music is so much better, don't even bother with their covers until you have seen their live originals. You've been WARNED! Of course there’s gonna be a studio version of Enter Sandman by The Warning, Metallica asked them to do it for the cover album that’s gonna come out, BUT they asked not to do the same they did when they were little kids (they’re still kids, some of them, Ale, the bassist is 16), and asked them to reinvent the song, and yes: YOU MUST see Choke, to see how much they’ve evolved. It’s the first single from the album they’re about to present, the third one, but the first two were independent low promotion albums, and now they’ve signed with Lava Records, and now they’re going big time!
