Telangana was mixed into Andhra in a hasty manner during independence. It never should have been. Nijam didn't take care of education there so Andhra people got all those jobs and eventually Telangana (Hyderabad state) people wanted to divide. Infact they were never happy with the union cause it was all done in a day.

When it was Madras state, we never had divided mindset. But after division is done we think we are different. Same is repeating now. Andra was splited. This was the reason why nehru intialy refused to divide. But it is not too late. We should always think we are Indians and we will be Indians to the end. To stop any separation in future, respect our mother tongue and other neighbouring languages. At least prevent mixing of English in our mother tounge. Preserve our culture and tradition.

Telangana people should have raised separate statehood at the time of merger into India itself. At least they should have opposed clubbing the state with Andhra during 1956 .This might have solved many problems. It seems they did not foresee the consequences of clubbing the 2 states. Now that a separate state is achieved, it would start a new era in its all round development.
