Although I do not wear eye glasses or contacts and can see, function just fine, I have cataracts in both eyes and need to work on computer spreadsheets and IT work, at times 12 hour days 7 days a week for months. After talking to John Vukich form Summit Eye Care and reading websites I was quickly convinced to get it done. I am beyond grateful for the pioneers at Cal Tech found themselves a cool project in 1997 that use UV light to modify polymers and providing me with great sight in less than a month from now. It allows me to perform on a high and consistant level for at least 12 years. I'll be 80 then.

I just had my consultation at NVISION Newport Beach and plan on getting my LAL in March. I am on Medicare with a medigap rider. My lenses will cost me $4,500 per eye. My doctor chose the Light Adjustable Lenses, because i previously have had RK, and LASIK.
