I vividly remember being around 5 or 6 years old when we had a regular family day at Glorietta Mall. That day, there happened to be a Gary V. mall show or mini-concert at the grounds. Since my dad was a fan, we decided to watch. Gary V.'s children were also there, dancing on stage with him. During his performance of "A Warrior Is a Child," he stepped into the audience and laid hands on the children while singing. I was one of the kids he laid his hand on, and it happened right during the chorus. It was such an inspiring moment. Even at that young age, I truly felt the presence of God through Gary V., who has used the talent God gave him to inspire people for so many years. That memory is incredibly nostalgic for me, and "A Warrior Is a Child" became a meaningful song in my life as I grew up. 💚💚💚

I had the rare opportunity to meet Ms Angeli, Gary, Angeli's mother, father and some siblings at their residence in Philamlife in the 80's through the kindness of my good friend Kiel (RIP) who used to work for them. Had some rather lengthy conversations with Angeli's Mum who I found to be very charming, religious, full of wisdom and empathy. Her father on the other hand sounded so intellectual and business-like but funny at the same time. Ms Angeli surely has inherited most of the outstanding qualities of her parents! Only saw Gary V concert in Vancouver and he was incredibly talented. I was quite surprised to find just recently that he was diabetic and that he had few brushes with death because of his mismanagement of his blood sugar. Diabetic needs discipline and constant vigilance with their diet (right kind of food and portion sizes), daily glucose readings, and lifestyle choices. I love Mrs. V's personality. She is an incredibly patient and very dedicated wife. May G-d bless them both and their family.

I was 11 y/0 when Gary had his 1st concert in 1984. I was never interested in Showbiz celebrities. Now that I'm in my 50's, I'm quite happy that vloggers are now featuring people BEHIND THE SCENE - the mothers & fathers, wives, children, managers, P.A., etcetc. These are the ones that make a successful celebrity! Their sacrifices and support are usually unnoticed! And so I honor ANGELI for without her, there is no GARY V. She sacrificed soooo much, almost like a martyr, just to take care of GARY V - 24/7. May the LORD bless her even more!

sobrang relate po ako sa inyo maam angeli. parehas po tayo ng experiences sa husband lalo na ung messy sink when brushing teeth. kainis un lalo na ayoko talaga ng madumi at makalat na bahay. pero wala akong magawa kundi linisin nalang. my husband is also a diabetic and a CKD patient. When I prayed and cry about our marriage, God asked me to stay with my husband and never leave him katulad ng hindi pag iwan sakin ng Panginoon. I just followed what God has asked me and we're in our 8 years of marriage now and still counting. God made me realize that it's not about the wedding but the marriage. It's not the loyalty that made you stay, but your covenant to God and to your spouse. iba talaga kapag may Christ ka sa buhay mo.
