We can come to know G-d and his attributes by what he has revealed to the Prophets, Peace and Blessings upon all of them, and therefore to us. People know the truth when they hear it and that's why so many have memorized the Qu'ran by heart.

Thank you for a very good and intresting conversation. Animals have good instincts. That goat didn't feel her life was in danger so she was calm. Having witnessed halal slaughters during Eid al Adha I know from experience that animals about to get slaughtered are indeed distressed. The survival instinct is maybe the strongest we have and it kicks in.

My advise try to listen more about this topic one of it listen to a revert Dr Jeffrey Lang's talk. Build your love to God first ie aqeedah not see the rules yet. When you love Him u'll love to follow His guidance for us to be happy n betterment of our own life n others. Wallahua'lam
