एक अन्य रहस्यात्मकता की चूक मुझे लगी क्योंकि फिल्म बेहद ईमानदारी से जैसे घटनाक्रम हुए वैसे ही कहानी कहती आगे बढ़ती है जो ऐसी रहस्य रोमांचक फिल्म में न होती तो और उत्तम होता है! मुझसे रहा ही नहीं गया कि ऐसा होता तो फिल्म कैसी लगती, ये देखने दिखाने की बेचैनी में जिसके लिए फिल्म के संबंधित सभी लोगों व विशेषकर #SShankar सर से विनयपूर्वक क्षमायाचना करते हुए फिल्म को संपादित कर यूं कहानी दी कि अतिरंजित व अकल्पनीय हत्याएँ होने और इसके अन्वेषण पर एक निष्पाप व्यक्ति पर सारे शक सबूत मिलते हैं जिसे प्रताड़ना दे सच निकालने की कोशिश के बाद कोर्ट में पेश किया जाता है जहाँ जिरह के दौरान दोषारोपित व्यक्ति का डाक्टर रहस्योदघाटन करता है कि परीक्षण के बाद पाया गया है कि इस निरपराध व्यक्ति में इसकी अज्ञानता में और दो व्यक्तियों का निर्माण हो गया है और उसी में से एक ने ये सारी हत्यायें बल्कि वध यानी न्याय किया है हिंदू मान्यतानुसार और इसके प्रमाण में परीक्षण कक्ष में लिए विडियो को प्रस्तुत किया जाता है जिससे मासूम व्यक्ति के साथ हुई घटनाओं, दुर्व्यवहार का - प्रेम में भी असफलता का व्योरा सामने आता है, और इससे उत्पन्न व्यक्तित्व भी आते हैं तो सबकुछ स्पष्ट होने लगता है! सरकारी वकील के सवाल खड़े करने पर निर्दोष व्यक्ति का दोस्त पुलिसकर्मी पुलिस हिरासत में प्रताड़ना का भी विडियो प्रस्तुत करता है जिससे बचे खुचे रहस्य व सवालों पर पर्दा उठता है, जेल की जगह मजलूम मुल्जिम अस्पताल जाता है, दो वर्ष के ईलाज व परीक्षण के पश्चात वह आम नौजवान की तरह बाहर आता है पर क्लाईमेक्स ये उद्घाटित करता है कि जब तक अनैतिकता है 'अपरिचित' भी कहीं गया नहीं है ! मंटो ने कहा था, "मैं दर्पण हूँ, तुम्हारा दर्जी नहीं कि तुम्हें ढकता फिरूँ!" कुछ यही कहता है 'अपरिचित' न्यायदेव यमराज!
