And well, some pundits and Manchester United fans blame him for disrupting the team's flow and dragging them back. And yes, this was despite him being their highest goalscorer for the season.

This is pretty surprising for a player who many consider to be the greatest of all time. And if you recall, this was the same thing that happened last year when he was about to leave Juventus. Some rival fans have even joked that he is has been hawked around Europe like an unwanted commodity. Hehe, oops, pretty harsh don't you think?

They don't want him possibly due to the following reasons: 1. His age, and his inability to now adapt to how a team wants to play particularly when it comes to the press. 2. Possibly regarded as a one-man show and wanting it all as how he wants, to the detriment of teams. 3. Too stroppy and too much of an ego. 4. Deemed as chasing individual plaudits at this stage, rather than advancing a squad. 5. Can distort the balance of a squad in the long-term, why he is focused on the short-term. 6. Too expensive. 7.
