I also think that for an entp personality to be formed, some particular things need to occur in a particular way during someone's early life, and some of these things might be more common in modern life, like material comfort, liberal parents, exposure to lots of random information, comedy and stand-up shows, etc.

I've always wondered what influence does your early ages have on your personality, for example in my country, based on my perception, there are more Se doms than xSxJ so I think that's why we don't make any progress, but the question is why? I grew up in a family like you describe, material comfort, random exposure to information, liberal family, so I kinda agree with your theory. I assume you're an entp so I want to know, what personalities do the people that raised you have?

I'm an ENTP and I can't be sure if it'd be a better world with more or less of us. But what I do know is that, despite a lot of people I hear talk about how boring the world would be if we all thought the same, I disagree with that premise (obviously, because that's what I do). Personally, I think that if everyone thought like me, I'd be much happier and the world would be a better place! I don't respect people who don't think the way I do. In fact they fuckin irritate me.

there are not many groups capable of dealing with us/me for an extended time and if they are, chances are high that they are too boring to stay anyways. I do have a strong sense of loyalty to some people that seems odd to me and I can‘t explain it to myself, but it exists and it is kind of the only thing that keeps me grounded.

My answer is that there's some kind of evolutionary/divine intelligence to type distribution. If there were too many ENTPs it would throw off the balance. It would produce an untenable instability. We need more SJs, for example, to hold the fort down while a smaller number of more adventurous and experimental types do what they do.
