Oh my goodness, I can't believe that you mentioned me out of all your lovely subscribers. As you know my health isn't the best and I haven't been able to focus when watching KZbin but I'm starting to catch up by binge watching. I have left you a few comments on past videos I've watched tonight. I just want to say thank you so much for making me realise that I am noticed and not alone. We are all blessed to be a part of your channel and New Zealand is a better place for having people like both of you. I did watch and comment on the video you did Liz telling your Mum's and the connection you had that will never break because she lives on in your heart and the hearts of all the people who knew and loved her. She died on the 27th of April which is the date of my birth. I will always remember your mum on my birthday and pray for your family as it will be a hard day but hopefully also full of happy memories of past times. Your mother sounds like such a kind, strong and caring lady who lived her life her way. I knew that both of you have a way with words but I didn't realise you could so elegantly write. Then you read those words and it's like we are taken back in time and your descriptive language makes it easy to form a picture. I think you should consider either writing a novel or a book of short stories. I know you have your first book out but maybe in the future because it would be a shame for anyone to miss out on your skill. I love you both, take care and stay strong. 🩵💗💜XX

Kia Ora Liz and Brian. Your enthusiasm and positive attitude about NZ is just not good for those moving here but something many kiwis should watch as well. I'm from NZ and had lived alot overseas. It can be easy to forget our uniqueness and positive aspects. We can get critical of ourselves. To hear the good things about NZ from an immigrate has alot more value than from ourselves. Just returned from 20 days in USA - our wee team was driven from San Francisco, via LA, across CA, Az and NM (about 3000km) then flew via Houston to DC before home via LA - daytime temps hovered around +35 C everywhere. Us kiwis don’t need air-conditioning here - it’s natural! The Slacks must surely be a kiwi treasure. We've watched & shared their brilliant videos with the tribe. Your son's video is a treasure I'm sure for you. The Slacks are certainly world famous in Piopio where I’ve stopped & shopped. We don’t realise how lucky we are in this little piece of paradise in the Sth Pacific. Arohanui.

I am glad you love NZ so much. And your commitment to each other is fantastic. For me, though, Aotearoa is a difficult place to live. Salaries are low, prices are high. I have watched people become less caring and more angry. We achieved one ofbthe highest standards of living in the world, and I have watched this living standard fall over the past few decades. I have lived overseas, and I find NZ people very difficult to understand in comparison to other cultures. We drive entrepreneurs, forward thinkers, and champions out of our country. I love my country, but I have seen little love in return. I pray for this land, as I know God loves all Kiwis, be they Maori, Samoan and other Pasifika, Asian, European, or any other culture. We have so much potential. The tragedy for me is seeing that potential go to waste.

The hole world is bankrupt. It is the Love of God that makes the difference. I dont think NZ is all that different from any where else. We have good days and bad ones like anywhere. If you find the perfect place dont go there you will spoil it. All the sin are here like any other place, the only hope is in Jesus Christ now matter where you live.

Why the hell are you preaching ?the place for religion is in church, your home and your imagination. The church and religion are just as bankrupt as anything else and has been for centuries.

i can't help it but this whole video all i can think of is the classic line that Bricktop says in the movie Snatch............... in casa you need a little help to jog your memory it goes a little sumin like this (and if possible try and imagine it being said with an east end accent)...... "pull your tongue out my a**hole Gary"

Not sure if this comment is meant in a kind way or if it is meant to offend, (sorry, haven't seen the film), but either way, Andy, thank you for watching, and we wish you a happy weekend 😊

Stop the theft of Maori land! Not one more acre! HANDS OFF! My ancestors went to see Queen Victoria to ask her to STOP the sale of Maori land but it fell on deaf ears and is still falling on deaf ears!
