It seems that the Victorinox scissors are slightly curved in towards each other, which makes a consistent contact point between the two blades, whereas the leatherman scissors are straight. Both of them have a little bit of looseness at the pivot, but the victorinox design keeps the edges in firm contact from front to back.

The Surge is still overall the best leatherman. Note I say overall. The ONLY advantage of the ARC is the magnacut blade. The scissors on the Surge work perfectly! I also own a Swisstool MX and love it also so I'm not being biased. I honestly believe these particular models to be the best of their respective brands! 👍

I disagree, the SAK still is better on large jobs like seat beats, leather, neoprene liners, wool clothing, and plastic. The scissor blade angle is a little off on the Leatherman's and demand more force from the person cutting. One of the reasons clones like Roxon, Nextools, Bibury and others are doing well is because their scissors are much better out of the box.

SAK Jetsetter, Classic, Rally or Rambler on your keys and you are done for scissors. Nextool Keychain knife (Classic Alox near copy) is just as good and is very inexpensive on the Chinese sites. Pliers based multitools seem such a compromise to me. I prefer a decent sized SAK (Celidor or Alox) and Knipex Cobra 125mm at the moment, but may consider the Roxon Flex when available in the UK.

Quelle question ! :) Victorinox ne propose que deux pinces multifoncions, le SWISS TOOL et le SWISS TOOL SPIRIT. Avec ou sans un ou deux ergots d'ouverture d'une main, avec ou sans clip de poche. Avec ou sans encoche de sertissage au niveau de la pince. Alors oui, je préfère le SPIRIT, plus élégant, moins massif, plus léger et son outil combo (ouvre-paquet/ciseau à bois, dénude fil). S'agissant de Leatherman, SURGE et ARC (ou Garage 40ème anniversaire). Bonne soirée :)
