Why are Military Tycoon players switching to War Tycoon?

In this video, I'm hopping into War Tycoon to see if I can find out why Military Tycoon players are switching to War Tycoon. Is War Tycoon less greedy/P2W? Do they treat their players better? Do people simply like the more realistic aspect of War Tycoon? Let's find out!

As a military tycoon player since early 2022, Ezra was the only reason why I kept playing. I was once in Susbreeds game and Ezra joined and asked for feedback on the game. He was super nice and he actually took feedback. When he left I just went to war tycoon and never looked back. However one day I’m hoping the game will fix itself. Hopefully

As a war tycoon player, I see a lot of chaos in the game, The game was fun but as the update came it got a little bit worse but in the end, it got better. One more thing there are some P2W play and some chill players. War tycoons have more jets and tanks, and military tycoons have more navy ships.

They're giving a lot of balance and counters of Robux add-ons in War Tycoon. For example, F-35 isn't much a challenge now since you can have Typhoon for free. About AbramsX, LOSAT went to exist to be superior compared to it in the right hands. And, lastly, War Tycoon do routine updates, which they do per 3 weeks or per month, which makes them to not quickly ran out of ideas and start copying the vehicles they already have, which MT did.

War Tycoon is just challenging if you're poor in gunfights, and probably you'll be an easy target to be raided at low rebirths. You'll start to feel easy once you get helicopters in rebirth 3 like Tiger and Ka-52 though. I'd say War Tycoon is overall superior, from balance of weapons, playerbase, etc.

As an old player of MT, The day they added Nuke base, I knew we're done for. and when they announced Trading, I just told my friends, I quit. I do join it like once a week and to no surprise, find a cocky rebirth 3 dominating the game with an endgame vehicle. I tried playing War Tycoon, but I just never had a day without a rebirth 7 just spawn camping my base, with a tank (I'm rebirth 0). Nowadays, its like you cannot play War Tycoon solo, you need to have a friend in case you're attacked, or else you can't do anything with shields down, oil rigs destroyed and a tank parked outside your base.

Tbh what I like about war tycoon is the insane graphics and physics, tank treads have good physics, when you throw grenades they have actual shrapnel physics, when you crash planes or helis there’s pieces that can fly off and hit people

The flying & gun physics in War Tycoon are by far better than what Military Tycoon has, but they definitely have a lot they can expand on. If they can refrain from making everything a gamepass, War Tycoon has a lot of potential because of it's realism and already large playerbase.

There are also other things worth noting. 1) Military Tycoon usually leaves the recently added vehicles alone to the point that they become obsolete. Either due to glitches or not as worth the grind. Meanwhile, in War Tycoon, I find all the vehicles in the game functioning well and can't easily become as useless as military. 2) Every vehicle in War Tycoon is worth using froms small ATV's to the airforce. Even the boats are worth the attention. When I play Military, they neglected of providing the importance to the navy side of things. This is mainly because aiming is difficult, they get shredded by the airforce and lacks where it needs to go. 3) Military Tycoon begun as a PTW game but in the past, it's not worth arguing about because of what it provides us. A few years later, they give us PTW at not just unreasonable prices but didn't bother to hide their greed. I respect the devolopers who designed and programmed the vehicles and still ongoing however, they are obviously lacking effort or even time for it. Military Tycoon would be like a competor on equal footing for War Tycoon if they bothered to be more careful and be sincere to their players. "Hey thanks for playing our game. Let me show you a gamepass for a reasonable price of a 1,000 robux." They treat their game as if it was a cash cow rather than promising great gameplay. It was a good game, it's unfortunate that the direction it his heading is guided by it's greedy team.

Another thing, war tycoon is way more beginner friendly because if you rebirth you get a unbreakable base shield for a bit so you don’t get spawn camped. Also, you can get all the game passes from the daily spin, I’ve seen people who got abramx, x35, and explosive sniper from spin

idk about military tycoon but as for war tycoon, it really feels like the devs cae about the gameplay and have a lot of testers playing the game and reporting the gameplay issues to them. an excelent example is the new update, they had made a boat update previously however in that update the boats werent used much, so the enxt uldate (the latest one) changed the map to encourage boat usage, they made water flow through the center of the map so that the boats were used

i've played war tycoon since it was called oil warfare tycoon, which was a lot of time ago, but, even then, the game was absolutely amazing, even when the vehicles used free assets, but when they created their own system it got even better. The only thing i think about as a downside is that people that grind operations are going to have a big advantage over those who dont, but that's just my opinion since normally people who play the game more will have more stuff unlocked

Military tycoon was so fun, i remember playing it years ago, but then it became what it is now, its months since i last entered it, the coolest thing to do in that game was to raid the other peoples vaults, dude it was fun, you would but then the bot update came, it was fun get your medic (extremely op, it would heal you in combat), and the robber guys that looked like payday to assist you im robbing, then the owner of the base would came and a extremely simple but fun gunfight would start, it wasent realistic but it was fun, i remember jumping and gunning with a aa-12 was the best strategy, i remember doing missions with an absurd dificulty, it was almost impossible, i ever remeber one, i think it was a gold f 35, it was so hard that the bots had a regeneration so fast that if 2 guys with m249 empty their mags in the bot it would not die, it was needed mags and mags, and much people to just kill one, and the covers were bad much bad, i think if you get exposed for a milissecond you would be 2 or 3 hitted by their minigun that shooted fast asf dude, after that i was happy that a entire community united and helper me get the plane, helpe other too, it was fun, much fun, but then i remember the game having its downfall too, they added a misson that i dint cared first, the golden minigun bot, i regret not doing it, wherever i go there was a guy with it, and it was so ridicolous powerfoul, and then the game gets worse and worse, and then i find this game "war tycoon", it had a pretty future, but wasent good enough, military tycoon had more thing, altough being not that realistic. I started playing military tycoon less, much less, and the completely quit it, enter sometimes just to see the game, and bro war tycoon is sick, it was called oil warfare tycoon before, it is so sick now, its p2w of course, every tycoon is, but its fun dude its has much content and the devs update constantly. Military tycoon was good, i had thousandd of good moments in it, but its no good anymore, both games changed completely but military tycoon is unrecognisable, unplayable im my opnion.

I joined Military Tycoon a while ago when it was actually a game. I took a break for a while to play other games. I kid you not, when I joined, I left because I thought I was playing an off-brand version. When I finally realized the game I had been looking for so hard, Military Tycoon, had become what it is now, I was genuinely sad. I could not recognize the game, but I knew I played it because I had 4 rebirths. I just went straight back to War Tycoon, the game I played in the meantime. I first joined War Tycoon when it was Oil Warfare, got demolished, and left to find Military Tycoon. I came back to War Tycoon when it was War Tycoon, and it is my new favorite game. The only problem I have with War Tycoon is the new USS Zumwalt because it is kind of P2W. It's best of its class and the same price as the F-35 even though its better then an F-35 and many free jets match up to the F-35, such as the new F-22 Raptor. I'm a free player, but I might get the new USS Zumwalt because it is the only P2W gamepass in War Tycoon now. All the others are just benefits, but nothing like the new ship. The biggest flaw is that at the 7th rebirth, everyone stops rebirthing and they just save up money until they have like 300 Million. The only other thing that you get from rebirthing after 7 is a flying car Easter Egg at 10 rebirths. Thanks for reading this far if you're seeing this.

I've played both MT and WT and can say that robux vehicles in WT are basically busted compared to their f2p variants, biggest offenders being the F35, Freebrams X, and the Hind. The Javelin on X shows you the nearest player vehicle is if they happen to be where you're looking a at on the ground. The explosive MG it has shreds everything, even the T14 which was meant to be the f2p counter to the X. As for MT I know theres an ass ton of different vehicles but honestly I haven't really seen people use many of them, like you'd think everyone would run around with the Super B-52 for the nukes but I haven't seen it out in the wild once in the past 6 months.

@@U_niquey Oh, no, the Hind is still incredibly fucking busted. It's a flying tank, armed like one, and it's only downside is that it's the Mi-24P variant and is stuck with the forward-facing main guns. If it was any other version of Mi-24/35, it would dominate with two players.

I myself switched from MT to WT generally for a few reasons, those being: Quality of Life, Combat Systems, and WT being more immersive. First, the quality of WT is hugely better than MT. Vehicles are more detailed and arnt just free models or blocks crammed together, base is more detailed, and most importantly, you dont have a casino room when you’re walking out of your base. Secondly, the combat system is SO much better, because you dont have 15k HP and have 8 miniguns, you have regular rifles and pistols and have to actually fight, and tanks and ground vehicles you actually have to defend yourself, and planes actually can have entire wings torn off, or legitimately crash, unlike MT, and you can use actual strategies to win. Third, the immersion of WT is so much better than MT. You can be pilot killed in a plane, your wing can get torn off, your tank can be breached and has blowout pannels, and you can jump out of ariel vehicles without a parachute and die, (unlike MT) and these are generally the reasons why people like myself switched.

I used to play both during 2020 I played war tycoon but when military tycoon came out I started playing both but started only playing war tycoon because it was less plasticky ,p2w and constant updates that were well made and not rushed unlike military tycoon rushing lazy updates every week at the time.

The primary difference between Military Tycoon and War Tycoon is that one is made for children to make the flashy lights and colours more appealing for their audience and then it has the game passes for the older audience and for them it is primarily to earn money once they were nearly sued in 2021 (not public information I know this as my friend was their community manager then)

greedy 3/10 (there is still a lot of gamepasses + spin the wheel but they don't shove it in your face) p2w 4/10 (like i already mentioned the game has a lot of gamepasses that can be really op but it's not as bad as Military Tycoon) i agree with the quote "Military tycoon is running a business, War tycoon is running a game" because while GameFam is slowly killing Military tycoon with gambling and p2w, War Tycoon wants the players to have fun and it's working much better for them because of the player count and in long term War tycoon is definitely gonna make much more money because: More people = More people that have premium which means more robux on premium payouts + when people see that the devs care for the players they are probably more likely to actually buy something to support them while some people like me never putted money in MT because GameFam doesn't care about players.

Great comment! I'm actually thinking about making a video looking at the differences between how much money Military Tycoon has made from gamepasses vs. how much War Tycoon has made. Judging by the like/dislike ratings, I think War Tycoon has actually sold more F-35's than Military Tycoon has sold A-10's... which is kind of insane since the F-35 gamepass is more expensive and the A-10 gamepass has been around longer. It looks like putting players first might actually be paying off for them there too

Ive been playing war tycoon for a very long time, basically since the HIMARS Update i remember i loved the boxer mrav, but now war tycoon feels more like a company, i dont know why but theres more money stuff involved, now there are limited skin crates but in the "trading plaza" you can buy them for 100-500 medals, maybe you can get a good deal. war tycoon is diffrent than what it was but i dont mind it.

I had a whopping 42 or 7:54 43 rebirths in military tycoon and I just started war tycoon and I remember when war tycoon was a not good knock off but now it’s better and in military tycoon you need to grind that whole week like crazy for the weekly vehicle it’s just not good anymore.

I remember I used to play MT but it just got more absurd. I didn't get to the point where it had a casino I think. then I found war tycoon either me and my friend found it together and decided to play it or I found it first and did a few rebirths then showed him and my god we have so much fun together yelling out slurs, cheering, raging. good fun in that game. he somehow got lucky enough to get the speedy humvee and speedy oil extractor, but they aren't too good when you have better vehicles like the secret vehicle in the helicopter section and the better oil extractors (I think). but yeah that's my comment.

Ima be honest. War Tycoon is the ONLY button Tycoon game that I have found myself enjoying and fully leveling in. Usually I prefer Tycoon games theme park Tycoon where each plot is unique, because button based seem like rebirths take forever yo get good. This game is different. Easily my #1 roblox game

Good thing in WT is that u can defeat F-35, Abrams X, Mi-28 and other gamepass vehicles with free ones, they aren't as op as in Military Tycoon, and you can get all of them from free spin

I left military tycoon due to the new devs, i used to be tester for mt , the old owners were crazy community based, they cared about the community but then gamfam bought the game and i realised they didn't care about the community, i reported many bugs which were ignored, unless the bug was same breaking or some dupe they really didn't care about our reports, my videos recieved 0 views and even after 8-10 updates of reporting it was never fixed

As someone who has 20 rebirths and over 20mil cash on mt.. I see why people quit. I personally quit a couple months ago. I played the new update and I hated it. Cyber fortresses laser guns drones and everything it just ruins the fun aspect of the game. The old simple desert map with the old base an f-18 or a biplane was ur choice against the raging invictus outside ur base.. I miss those days

As a war tycoon player I remember when it was called oil warfare tycoon ahh the good old days. I also prefer war tycoon because there are no casinos in game and even better there is now iPad kids dominating because they have a lot of robux and it’s also more realistic and the rebirth system is more equal so like if you have 4 rebirths your not god in wt it’s more equal so it more enjoyable of course there is the sweat or two that are extremely rare to encounter

The fact is i think you can either get ALL of the gamepasses or atleast most of them just by spinning the wheel, and even if its only a 0.5% its still cool you can choose to not spend 30 dollars and still get a reward

The only bad thing about War Tycoon is the P2W. You cannot play the game normally, going for kills, without having so kid spending his parents freaking mortgage to buy every gamepasses in the game! It makes it absolutely horrible to play

the main reason i left mt was because of its poor quality updates one time i decided to revisit it and i remember the old b17 model. it was a meshlap, they clearly just found a 3d model of a b17, and just slapped it on without updating anything else, not even the physics or if it had collision. just straight up meshlap.
