I use water mix with oil in my hair and within minutes of using it, it gets really really dry. Do you know why does that happen?

Theressa C Maybe you should try spraying water in your locs and then massaging oil in, like don’t mix it. To let the oil seal in the water. That’s just what works for me!

Also It depends on what type of oil you use. I know for myself and others coconut oil dries the crap out of my hair, skin and I can't eat it either. Some oils you may be sensitive too. Or maybe use a water filter.
