I do get rather tired of playing against the sweaty people who feel the need to win every game all the time. There are times where I like the competitive aspect, but only when I CHOOSE to play competitively (for instance on the Competitive Playlist). But sometimes I want to sit back, relax, and not have to put much thought into playing but I can't do that unless everyone else is as well. (Well, I can, but I don't particularly like going 3-29 every game)

In my opinion SBMM can be fun, but most of the time its annoying. Ever since I dropped my 2nd DNA bomb all I've been ever running in to are clans who, and no disrespect, try their ass off with Bal and ASM1 which can be super frustrating when I'm using like an Pytaek. Now I know this isn't Black Ops 2, but while I did mainly play league play pubs where to try new gun set ups and experiment a little before playing league, I can't really do that with AW

Yup I'm in the same boat as you. It's even worse for me when almost every lobby my teammates are 3-15 while the enemy team actually contain brains. It's especially frustrating because I enjoy swapping to random weapons that aren't used all the time or go knifing only.

Its fun playing cod sometimes with friends. I have a 2.0 kd in bo2 in which I try to maintain it. But in aw I have a 1.46 and don't really care in that game. I have played a lot of strong players. And some that look like they just don't care or are a little noobish and easy to read. But its all fun really. But dood you also have to remember that there is a lot of talent out there not in the spotlight. Just because one is a tournament professional player only states that he goes to tournaments. There are some hidden ninjas out there. =)

Skill based matched making shouldn't be in the game. Pubs is for "fun" and league play is like competitive. League play is generally harder and will make you better. In pubs, sbmm should not be in the game.

well... it should be location/internet speed match makin. i play for fun and just running and gunning, not trying hard, just wanna have fun. i got pretty good aim and i handle the movements well. because of sbmm now im facing tryhards and campers with 2k/d and theres no fun at all. i need to go as hard as i can if i wanna get good gameplay, and thats not fun in my opinion. trying out a new guns (pistols/specials etc.) is impossible because these try hards will shit on you. sbmm is fucked up. there should be leader boards like in bo2 so if you are a noob you can back it off if theres all like +1.5kd players.

I don't know how to tag people so I'll just start. (I'm on mobile) I am not a casual player. I have played this game pretty much every day since it has came out, and am only 5th prestige level 43. Why, might you ask? Because I don't try every game. I have a 1.12 kd (it's trash I know) because I get put in lobbies full of sweaty people when I'm using the maaws and the na-45 explosive crap sniper. I don't want to have to sweat all the time. If I want to try, I will play ranked play. I'm complaining about guns because they are something I can not use. If someone has the obsidian steed, they can easily outgun me with my default bal even when I have first two shots. I wouldn't care if I could use the obsidian steed, but I can't. And no amount of skill will change that. Plus, if you want to sweat, go play ranked play. In ranked play you should try. In pubs you should not.

I have a 3.78kd in bops 1 and a 2-3kd in the other cods and I've gone negative plenty of times, once I went 18-36 real bad spawn trap :( I have a 1.40kd on aw it should be higher though as I killed myself about 1,000 times when I started trying to reverse boost( although I stopped that now). I went on a 23 gunstreak in sbmm lobby when my kd was around 1.38 they all left the game, so I'll never know if I would have gotten that dna. My aim was immense in that game though I was 100% sure it was in the bag.

I believe the normal pub match making should be mostly connection based...and maybe some skill calculated in there too. Leave the strictly SBMM to League Play, that's why it's there. I can't remember which COD it was, but I do remember there being an option when you went to Find Game as to finding a game based on best connection to your console. It had a warning that it could take longer to find a game, but it was still an option. I wish SHG would make this addition to AW!

I don't play call of duty any longer, but from my experience in League Play in BO2 and from CS:GO Matchmaking, it's definitely better for me as a player to get matched up with players around my own skill range. In BO2 I went from Platinum to Master Rank 1 thanks to that. In CS:GO I went from Master Guardian 2 to Legendary Eagle Master (not sure if you know the ranks, in CS:GO, but you get my point).

I really do enjoy skill based matchmaking because you don't have to worry about noobs or complete try hards that are so above your level in the game. It's a chance to improve and see your strong and weak points. But I really do think that there should just be a separate mode for it, like league play, because somedays I just want to relax and like what Scump said, to just enjoy the game and to just have fun.

i think pubs are harder than ranked play just because it's 6v6 which has 4 extra people on the map at one time, messing up spawns, allowing more people to shoot you in the back, and even get flanked a lot more. Ranked play is easier in my op because you can keep track of how many players are alive and dead, where they're spawning, etc PLUS, you won't get shot in the back as much!!

scump i know exactly what you are talking about with the mic and the pub try hard players. my mic for some reason just wouldnt record my voice one time and i realized when i was basically done narrating what i was talking about lol. so frustrating. I think I've found a solution for people who want to just relax in the game. Open up the Local Play option, choose the easiest level of bot and then pick the number of bots to play with and against. You can get hundreds of kills and as many streaks as you want with the added bonus of no connection issues and you don't ruin anyone else's day who may have only recently purchased the game and wants to play objective game modes objectively without dying constantly from kids playing/camping solely for streaks. Everyone wins!

They should up the skill based matchmaking the more people you add to your party and game.

I think there is a skill based match making. When I first started I was at a solid 2.00KD and the pubs seemed much harder or competitive. Goofed around on the account and KD went way down, and now it seems like there is no competition in any lobbies. Not sure if it is based off of KD, but it was the first thing I thought of watching this video.

It's at the point where myself and other good players can't even find new lobbies. I have trouble finding games and it's almost always the same people

Honestly I kinda enjoy skilled based matchmaking because it puts me to a test to see how good I actually am and it makes me feel good when I can go into a pub of people around my skill level and dominate instead of going 30-0 against noobs or some one the is not as good as me

To be honest I like the skill match making because if you only play ppl that are under your skill level you will most likely start playing at that level all the time. There isn't that skill level that you put yourself in playing ppl at the same level or better then you which makes you an all around better player.
