I wish it was still the middle of nowhere, somehow advertisers have over sold the area, Realtors and developers like the influx of outside wealth.

Thanks for your comments Ron. Mount batchelor in Central Oregon has been advertised for many, many years as a vacation and skiing spot. Also Sunriver does tons of advertising. Every single small town that has a lot of recreational opportunities is going to grow and change over the years. It can't be helped and it's not the fault of Realtors 😉
