Something similar happened once when I went to Whataburger. Some guy in the restaurant complaining that they got his order wrong & started cussing them out. And the irony, he accepted the food instead of demanding (in a civil way) that they give him what he paid for. It's so sad what fast-food restaurant employees have to tolerate these days.

This mess has been going on far too long. I had an armed security job, and one of my first assignments was 11pm. to 7am at the waffle house. When I arrived, I thought, why in the world do they need armed security at the Waffle House in Hampton, Virginia? It was 1996-97. I found out real quick. An all-out brawl glass breaking and someone popping the trunk pulling out an assault rifle. He hid it in his coat and walked right up to me. I said look man I know what you got, not tonight. He calmly walked away. I quit that job 2 weeks later.

I started working at Waffle House when I was 16 and stayed there for a year and the amount of drunk ppl that came in and tried fighting me over something they didn’t order is crazy. When this was happening at a Denny's in a city with a population of 50,000, you know what their solution was? At certain times folks would go drunk causing fights. They started closing Denny's from 2-4am. There was no other late night places to eat except a drive-thru, it did send a good message.
@airraverstaz
@airraverstaz Жыл бұрын
That occurred to me at the end of the video. We have a 24/7 Jack in the Box here that locks their doors at 9:30 or 10, they could solve a lot of problems if they started making it drive-thru only after a certain time.

15 years ago, when I had the misfortune to live in Fayetteville NC, the Waffle House near where I worked had ALL their windows shot out by some thug, and it was shut down for days until repairs could be made. Luckily, nobody was hurt--he just walked in and started shooting out the windows. Waffle House seems to be the preferred place for psychos, gangstas, and thugs to perpetrate mayhem. It has been that way for a LONG time. But it got MUCH worse when they started posting their "gun free zone" signs, because now the thugs all know that law-abiding customers can't defend themselves...
