Two other things that cause air in the jets for me is the SWG and the venturi effect in the spa.

Without the suction hose connected, I'm getting great suction with no air bubbles. As soon as I connect my NEW Barracuda Twist Lock hoses to my MX8 pool cleaner, the bubbles magically appear and a considerable loss of pressure also. Why is this? Its driving me nuts. The hoses i have connected and properly submerged to make sure they don't have air in them prior to turning the pump on. So I don't know. If I disconnect them, pressure returns and bubbles are gone.

How long will the O ring last ? We are in our 3rd season….

Hi @dianacampolattaro6499! There's no telling how long they'll last. We'd say that if you're on your 3rd season now and don't have an issue keep going, but it's probably a good idea to get a spare of two for when the time comes. 👍
