5:17 Actually, for the “Kung Fu Rooster”, you were almost right. It’s actually from a Chinese animated series called “Kung Fu Master of the Zodiac”.-In which I had watch it on KZbin years ago. The summary is that the boy(who is a reincarnation of a demigod) who is been train by 12 Kung ku Master (Sacred Beast), based on the animals of the Chinese Zodiac (as the Kung Ku rooster is one of the master), in order to defeat Year ( the purple lion guy), the main antagonist of the series. So the boy needs to train different skills from each master before Year can take over the world or something. The clips been use are actually from episodes that feature the Rooster as the next master training the boy

@Speckled Legs Not even just that, it was incredibly well done. The mockumentary format was a unique approach to story telling in an animated movie, the water physics almost made me cry with how good they were, and the cast itself was well-rounded. I dunno if I've ever heard Jeff Bridges in an animated role (Besides The Little Prince) and I absolutely loved his performance as Big Z. Shia did fantastic as Cody, too.
