They are called crayfish depending on geographic location but are spiny lobsters. They are also known as rock lobsters.

When I was growing up there were RC tarantulas and dinosaurs. I had a dinosaur robot, and the tarantula robots were some of the most realistic robotic toys of their time. I bought another kid one of the tarantulas for his birthday once, I bet he remembers it as fondly as I did my toy animal figures and my little cars and trucks! The spy robots bring me back to when those electronic animals were played with by millions of kids like me, especially the ones that look like crabs, lobsters, fish etc. They have yet to make a Spy Spider though, maybe soon.
