Yes I read on average they come down with about 12 illnesses the first year of life! That’s about 1 per month and their first year was kind of stunted thanks to the world being shut down! Not surprising as things open back up they’d get a summer virus! Especially having people in their home renovating!

@@ineslopes5733 what you’re talking about is “Daycare Syndrome” which yes does cause many illnesses, but it’s not like P&A stay home! They go to the park, they go to stores, they go to church (I wonder if Cassidy is in a daycare class, I know mine were at that age!) they are around friends, and probably top germ-y on the list, Cassidy has to have regular doctor appointments at a large medical facility!! Even SAH kids get quite a few illness! Especially when you live an active life with them!

Your not use to Tennessee allergies and what is going on, another person who moved this winter to Nashville asked her doctor why everyone in the family was sick so much and the doctor said a lot of people have moved to the area and have come into the doctor with those same symptoms because their immune systems are going to catch up so next year things will be better. My kids were your kids ages in the 80’s and we really had the same problem. As did my sisters kids and most of my friends, I really think, looking back, it was their system getting geared up to build their immune system. My parents were happy (ish) we all got the childhood usual suspects, as they said it toughened us up germ wise. Please don’t be embarrassed, it’s much more common than you think, and maybe a lot of people like you, don’t talk about it much. You are great parents, I don’t wish their lives away but it gets better as they grow up. Just keep on keeping on! I live in Scotland, so colds and flue like symptoms are commonplace here, as our weather can fluctuate wildly, I like to watch you all as you send others with a young family a great message, don’t double guess yourself, you have no need to.🥰

Once you strain it you will get 4 cups that will last you a day.Then add a full table spoon of honey to each cup . We got used to the taste and it is wonderful for sore throat, congestion and cough. Most people are vitamin D deficient. We started giving our kids vitamin D and it has helped lower the symptoms if we DO get sick. It's been helpful!

@andrea-rq1fe3 жыл бұрын
@@KrisWolf4 you can still get sick with a vaccine and their children are obviously too young for a vaccine. Lots of colds and flus are still out there, they didn't disappear.
@KrisWolf43 жыл бұрын
@@andrea-rq1fe I realize that, I meant mum and dad. I also realize that colds are still around. I live in a colder climate where sick season was in winter. A lot was because we weren't outside getting enough vitamin D. I can't remember my kids getting colds in summer, maybe a few times as they grew up rarely though!
@andrea-rq1fe3 жыл бұрын
@@KrisWolf4 I meant no offense. :) I think I misread your comment. I thought it said, "they are vaccinated" not "are they vaccinated" implying they couldn't get sick if they were vaccinated. My other comment was actually meant to be directed to the other persons comment, sorry. I know cold weather too, I live in Winnipeg (aka Winterpeg), Canada. My kids take after me so even though summer colds are less common we've definitely had them.
