Why are we still shooting on film?

With the rise of AI, somehow having a physical negative makes it feel more... real. Also, the cost of it makes me slow down so much, and I love shooting film on travels. I shoot both digital and film, but film is always for special moments.

I've ordered a Kodak Ektar H35 to get started for these exact reasons... mainly the surprise element which forces intentionality with each click.

I just picked up a Minolta 7000i and was asking myself this question today. There is something analog about the process that gets lost when I use an Iphone to take a photo. Great video and editing

Because analog film is around 100x more interesting than digital snap shots.

I wanna make photos i will actually look at. Ive taken 10s of thousands of photos on phones and I've almost never looked back on most of them. They just miss the value

I LOVE FILM! - But I HATE to pay for film and processing, and dealing with storage issues after the fact.
