West, East and Central Africa are creating these agreements with foreign governments to create basis in their homelands, not seeing the bigger picture of being over taken without a say. In South Africa we are still fighting the Dutch since 1800s till to date. We are not looking for foreign military basis to help us but we are looking for foreign knowledge to help us capture our economy back to us. Europe dictates Africa's economy by only allowing us to trade in their currency which is wrong.

I find some parts emotionally unbearable due to how much wreckage is still happening on our continent. I get quite angry and contemptuous about our leaders' naivety in willingly succumbing to the pressure and agenda(s) of foreign policy to keep us impoverished, whilst using our resources to foster their interests and growth. We have the youngest population, we have the most natural resources of any region and we have immense spaces of land we can build on.
