As I once heard; there's nothing like a FREE offer in international relations, all these outside powers have their political and mostly economic motives to fulfill...it's simple psychology, to get something valuable from someone, you have to find out what they crave the most and offer it to them to do your bidding in full

West, East and Central Africa are creating these agreements with foreign governments to create basis in their homelands, not seeing the bigger picture of being over taken without a say. In South Africa we are still fighting the Dutch since 1800s till to date. We are not looking for foreign military basis to help us but we are looking for foreign knowledge to help us capture our economy back to us. Europe dictates Africa's economy by only allowing us to trade in their currency which is wrong.
@Just-KamalАй бұрын
I am always thankful when meet with people with functioning brains like yours. Please, never sell your soul. The ability to document is your superpower, and a trust bestowed upon you. Keep to it justly. I appreciate your work and efforts. I have garnered a lot of knowledge in the past week because of my introduction to your channel. I find some parts emotionally unbearable due to how much wreckage is still happening on our continent. I get quite angry and contemptuous about our leaders' naivety in willingly succumbing to the pressure and agenda(s) of foreign policy to keep us impoverished, whilst using our resources to foster their interests and growth. When push comes to shove, we Africans are the sculptors responsible for reshaping the future of our people. We need to redefine our goals and work together to achieve them.

World powers are increasingly turning their attention to Africa due to its vast natural resources, emerging markets, and strategic geopolitical importance. Africa is home to some of the world’s largest untapped reserves of minerals, oil, and gas, as well as being a growing hub for technology and innovation. As global supply chains evolve and the world seeks alternatives to traditional sources of energy and raw materials, Africa’s resources have become invaluable to many countries and multinational corporations. Additionally, Africa’s youthful and expanding population presents a significant opportunity for investment in sectors like education, healthcare, and infrastructure. This growing middle class offers new consumer markets and potential for economic growth, making the continent increasingly attractive to foreign investors. However, this influx of attention from global powers raises important questions about whether Africa will benefit equitably or if it will be further exploited. Africa must seize the opportunity to assert its position, ensuring that its resources are managed sustainably and that the development benefits its people. Strong governance, ethical policies, and regional cooperation are essential to ensuring that Africa's engagement with global powers leads to positive outcomes for the continent, fostering long-term economic prosperity and social well-being.
@walkingking707Ай бұрын
We have start thinking about building and managing societies on the African continent which benefit the African people. We have the youngest population, we have the most natural resources of any region and we have immense spaces of land we can build on. If there are no enemies on the inside, the enemies outside cannot hurt you. Once Africans learn how to not be their own enemy, change is not just a possibility, it is guaranteed.

Is there a point when Africa was never under colonial rule? In my opinion, neo-colonialism has been more effective for the West than colonialism. In other words, the West went through the front door and returned through the back door. They never left Africa.
