Never will he allow the righteous one to fall. Then my mum told me this Kikuyu proverb, ..ATATIGA DAKORA...soo true! At times you don't need to fight.... Such a strong woman with an inspiring story.. Monicah you look splendid as always. Your guest is the most amazing woman I have ever seen devoid of controversies. She is beautiful and a true testimony of hard work and resilience. I don't understand Kikuyu but I can get the story line in relation to her business brand too. Kenya loves such women. She goes out to earn her hard work away from those busy chasing free rides to gender equality. Who can stand out here to contest the fact that what men do, women can do better? I love her to pieces. She is a true patriotic Kenyan and an epitome of women power-self empowered without apologies

Lizz's story fits well in what one philosopher has told us about our existence,viz, 'that though we crave to persist in our being we are finite creatures; that we are thrown alone into existence without a predestined life structure and destiny; that each one of us must decide how to live as fully, happily, ethically and meaningfully as possible." I picked a few points from this story: Liz talks with glowing love for her late husband; no rancour there. She continues to say that if she were to be born anew, she would want to marry a man like her late husband; wow! And there is advice to those still in marriage, that the loss of a spouse is a traumatic blow whose pain persists untreatable throughout life: so take care of your relationship and make it work through patience and forgiveness. And the angle of afterlife; she says that when her time to go to "that place where people go" i.e death, she is reconciled to her circumstances.She will live through her progeny who she has trained well to continue her earthly legacy. In conclusion this is a fascinating story of the human condition and a reminder that "life is strange"!
@lucygithu76794 жыл бұрын
Thanks Liz.You are such an inspiration to women and the youth. What's coming out from this interview is that,the age_gap between spouses most often(not always but often) has some negative impact on the marriage relationships.Be blessed Liz and keep up the very good work you started to educate,mentor& giving confidence to our youth.
