Wash your pad gently with soap and water and air dry it overnight. Any pad that's dirty is gonna have that happen. It's wild that people don't clean their pads.

@@tinocabral4201 Obviously mousepads will get slower over time as the surface gets worn down by swiping repeatedly but if you keep them clean then they shouldn't get slower beyond that.

Nice video man! But yea, it's just a matter of time for mousepad, it doesn't matter if u have a really expensive one or cheap. Ppl recommend "cleaning" with soap and what not, but the more you clean it, the more wear you put on the surface, and it will accelerate the wear. It's the same thing for cars, the more you wash / clean your car, the more coatings you wipe off. Mousepads are meant to be replaceable, and overtime you will have to replace it with a new one. That's why I'd rather buy a mousepad with a decent price (not too cheap, not too expensive) because I know I will have to replace it in the future.

Mouse pads are like shoes. If you use sports shoes every day for hours on end. What happens to the sole. The durability with artisan pads I heard is about 1 yr

Which one is it the xsoft soft or mid every pro uses soft like tenz and tarik but i actually saw somebody doing a review like you after a year and he said the same so he got the mid and its so mich more consitent also his aimlab scores etc are mire consitent thats why ive been thinking to get the mid. Also why yours could be so muddy is cause many fibers got stuck there and try to wash it only with room Temperature water using a microphobic napkin. What do you think

I feel like artisan pads are a case of, take care of it, it will take care of you. And that does involve putting it it’s box, taking it out just when you play, and washing your hands before you use it/ using a compression sleeve or flipping it periodically to level out the wear and dead skin buildup. Also, just wash your mousepad properly, either by the Lysol method or conventionally in your bathtub or shower. (If anyone does that, make sure there you rinse it enough that there is no bubbles or anything coming out, and use the flat side of your hand softly as a squeegee for the dead skin and soap)

All cloth pads will wear out, it's a consumable and not indestructible. Not sure why you would single out Artisan when this is a universal problem.
