Also since ASEAN is neutral it should not serve the interest of the CCP or the US and instead serve the interest of Southeast Asian. Removal of the Philippines is against that principle. Plus its not only the Philippines that had upgraded alliance with the west Vietnam, Singapore and Thailand too. So it would be hypocritical if ASEAN voted to remove the Philippines. In fact there is no such plan to remove the Philippines. Most ASEAN countries who had a maritime conflict with China have good military relations with the USA. Example countries like Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia join the recent exercises RIMPAC in Hawaii and Pitch Black exercise in Australia.

Phillipine still Don’t understand the definition of Economic Exclusion Zone (EEZ). The EEZ defines as watery boundary or passage of each country didn’t include any territorial sovereignty. The EEZ was recognized in the 1980 and the SCS dispute was 30 years before the EEZ even exist.
