Well said sis. A friend just asked, 2021/01/01, if I would like to be married? I told her I want to let God, take me to the man that has his character. That means that I'm going to stop limiting myself. Stop thinking that one group is not going to like me for being black. What I heard in this video is that they like people who are authentic. Who love and respect themselves. For the one guy, a woman who also likes to work 😊. If there are sisters who are similar to me, who have held out for your Nubian Prince; how about a man who will treat you like a princess? I'm not into fairytales, just making a point to open ourselves up to other possibilities. Blessings!

@Grape Soda A lot of that has to do with the social brainwashing that a majority of Black women (particularly Black American women) go through from the time we can understand that 1) We are the most undesirable women on the planet according to the media and a lot of our men and 2) If a man does talk to us, it's just because he wants an easy 'score' and has no real interest in having our hearts. Please don't give up on us because that first (or even second/third) brush off could be a test of your resolve. Now, I'm not saying hang around to get abused by some angry, resentful Black woman, but sometimes you have to look deeper than that surface "Yeah, okay, bye," that you receive. Sometimes, you might have to be brave enough to let a Black woman know that you're not going to hurt her, you just want to talk and get to know her heart and then the ball is in her court.

Unfortunately this is all a form of fetishism sis. There is a long complex history of the oversexualization of black women, which is often mistaken for flattery. In reality, the men should find the women beautiful simply because they are beautiful. Not because they are black. They are making a lot of assumptions about black women such as "black women are assertive, in good shape, etc. ) on the surface these things look like compliments but they stem from a deeper set of preconceived notions, some of which were used to justify slavery ( black peoples are strong so they make good slaves ). I know this got pretty deep but it's important to be aware of these things. At the end of the day, you want someone who finds you beautiful regardless of the color of your skin

that's just because of how media portrays Asian men. How many AMBW couples are there on TV? Usually it's BMAF or WMAF. Asian males are depicted as the asexual nerd, or hypersexualised freak who can't get laid or get it on with a crazy white chick. I'm fortunate to have grown up with a diverse group and have had no such hang ups, but that is the truth and for a fresh off the boat Asian whose only knowledge of black culture is TV or movies, that is how we are shown and that is what they would know.

The best way to get attractive girls to like you for nothing else but your race is to create a myth that pale skin is better and take away their racial self esteem and hand it back to them so they will scurry into your hands for it, then you have them worshiping you for showing a mere mild interest or giving a condescending pity based compliment, that's what's happening to black people... social programming through low self esteem and racial hierarchy caste system perception.

As a black girl this is so uplifting because all we ever hear is that black women are loud, and ghetto, and wear weave and that other men don't want us as partners and that we should be light skinned. I'm a teen and i'm not picky when it comes to potential partners. race doesn't matter to me. but it always made me sad knowing the rest of the world doesn't think that way. as i've been maturing and thinking about this outside of relationships i've been trying to break this stereotype with my knowledge and the way i carry myself. Someday i hope that when people think of a black person they don't think about gangster, crime, loud mouth, ghetto, a father that isn't there for their child, or a baby mama with six kids. I want people to think of a well educated and spoken person that is just as equal and capable as any person.

If they had shown another really dark skinned person that didnt fit the taste of the guy he wouldnt have chosen her, no one thinks like; "oh she is really black skinned/lightskinned" let me date her, it just depends on how attractive the girl/boy looks to the person watching.

And this is most effective on a race of people that have been conditioned to believe they are "ugly, loud, aggressive, big, not innocent, threatening, dumb, and undesirable." I can understand Korean bcz I lived in Seoul for 2&1/2 years and he spoke in the most respectful way using the honorifics everytime he talked about the women in the pictures. Korean girl in general is attracted to a gentle, soft-spoken, well-mannered man than a masculine, macho type guy. I know he is the type who is popular among Korean girls

A lot of Asian men Ive spoken too or watched interviews about said they dont know how to approach Black women because either they have never meet one, interacted with one, or is just nervous around. There arent black people in a lot of places around the world so when people do see black people it's sort of intimidating or very foreign to them. The fact that black women are desired around the world but still do not get approached because of lack of confidence or intimidation is so sad lol. This world would be a lot more mixed if Black woman also got out of their comfort zone in dating outside of Black men more. (This is no hate towards black men) but it is a fact that black men date outside their race about 2-3x compared to Black woman NOT because black woman are becoming less desirable. Black women please TRAVEL because dating locally in the States ain't doing much lol. ♡

Especially since we have been hated abused and ignored for so long and media has represented us globally as ugly masculine and all kinds of horrible things and so to hear men from other races not just black men compliment and praise black women it should be supported and recognized. It feels damn good to be admired it feels damn good to be loved and no man who truly loves a black woman or any woman for that matter would get upset if women were cherished and complimented and admired.
